DA4 RGBHV and DA6 RGBHV Distribution Amplifiers Connections
Description The Extron DA4 RGBHV and DA6 RGBHV distribution amplifiers buffer one RGBHV video input and distribute the buffered signals to multiple destinations with no loss of signal quality. The DAs can also distribute RGBS video, RGsB video, RsGsBs video, component video, S-video, or composite video. The DAs include the appropriate rack-mounting hardware for mounting in a standard 19” rack. The DAs have an internal switching power supply for worldwide power compatibility.

Installation and Operation If desired, attach the included rack ears and mount the 1U high DA in a standard 19" rack. Gain/Peak DIP switch for cable length compensation — Up — Applies gain and peaking. Use this position for long cable runs (up to 200 feet using Extron Mini HR cable). Down — No gain or peaking. Use this position for short cable runs. AC/DC switch for input coupling — Up (Input AC coupling) — Use this position when the signal source has a high DC offset. Down (Input DC coupling) — This is the default position for the best picture quality.

3. Mute connector – If desired, connect a closure device to mute a specific output or all outputs. Short a pin to ground to mute that output (or all outputs).
