Basic Training Data Operator Additional guidance To be read in conjunction with the attached ISUScore2FS manual 1 • Initial screen after starting up ISUScore2FS 2 • The top left button ‘Main’ must be pressed to gain connectivity with the Judges PC’s 3 • Main screen for ‘Singles Skating’ 4 • When an element is called, simply press the Level e.g. 2, and press the ‘Next’ button to continue. The element boxes open up on the Judges PC’s so its important to be quick. 5 • Continue to enter the called elements, ‘Next’ can be pressed using a mouse or by pressing ‘Spacebar’ 6 • Change to Review Mode by pressing ‘Stop’ and ‘Yes’ 7 • The ‘Video Replay’ button reveals the element being reviewed and can be displayed using the commands on the left part of the screen and the mouse wheel. 8 • Pressing the deduction button opens this screen and modifications can be made 9 • Once the skaters elements have been reviewed and deductions checked and the Technical Controller authorised, press the ‘Elements Authorized button’ 10 • The next skater will be advanced by the Results Operator. Check name box to ensure correct skater presented, elements and deductions, if called, entered. 11 Additional familiarisation 12 • The Expert operator must wear headphones. In order to communicate, simply press the ‘Talk’ button on the belt pack. The volume is controlled by using the black turn switch on the belt pack. Pressing the ‘Call’ button will gain you help. 13 • The display signal on the Expert laptop is also displayed on the Technical Panel monitor by utilising the VGA port and a corresponding cable. 14 • The Graphics properties on the laptop can be activated by selecting ‘Multiple Displays’ and ‘Clone Display’, resulting on same display being viewed on the laptop and monitor. 15 • Display properties Continued. 16 • The video feed is distributed to each PC from the main distributer via a Canopus box which is connected to each laptop via a 6 pin FireWire cable.
