Aritech Series / Dual motion sensor Volumetric motion sensor EV1000 Series DD325-P 12m volumetric Dual motion sensor OVERVIEW FEATURES The DD325-P Series are dual technology detectors based on a high quality PIR verified by a unique “Distance of Motion” (DOM) measurement technique. This technique uses ultrasonic technology to measure the distance travelled by the target and its accuracy is not significantly effected by the distance of the target from the detector. The result is a familiy of detectors with sharp detection characteristics and excellent rejection of traditional false alarm sources. • PIR verified by ultrasonic module The precision optics are based on Aritech’s patented seven gliding focus curtains design which allows true range control to be obtained, together with undercrawl capability. The Autofocus capability of the curtains addresses the issue of “hot spots” in the coverage of the PIR which can degrade the false alarm rejection performance of detectors using conventional “beam” optics. The curtain optics provide uniform sensitivity along the field of view whereas traditional beam optics provide areas of high local sensitivity. • “Step & Gliding Focus Multi Cutain” mirror optic • Sealed optics • ASIC with “3D” processing • Distance of Motion microwave signal processing • Selectable range with full undercrawl detection • No adjustment required for different mounting heights • Tolerates wall angle deviation • Complies with EN50131-2-2 • Several European approvals This product family uses Aritech’s “3D” signal processing to ensure optimum performance. “3D” processing intelligently analyses signal patterns to distinguish between human movement and false alarm hazards. Ths signal processor has been created in an ASIC (custom designed chip) to provide the highest levels of reliability and immunity to effects such as radio interference. In the DD325-P series, the detection range of both the PIR and the DoM detectors are adjusted together, optimising the detector against false alarm rejection in rooms of various sizes.
