MPOptimate Fan-Out Cables Spec Sheet
CommScope MPOptimate Fan-out cables are used to make the transition from an MPO connector to12 individual LC or SC connectors.
Specification: 1. MPOptimate Fan-out cable ≤ 10m The optical cable used shall be an OM3,12 fiber RIBBON cable LSZH in the AQUA color with standard AMP NETCONNECT printing. On one end this ribbon cable will be direct terminated on an MPO connector, on the other side the transition from the RIBBON to the individual 2mm tails shall be done via a fan-out construction allowing strain relief this fan-out cable. 2. MPOptimate Fan-out cable > 10m The optical cable used shall be an OM3 LSZH, Indoor/Outdoor, Single Loose Tube 12 fiber with a diameter of 6.4 +/- 0.4mm. The outer jacket shall be AQUA with the standard AMP NETCONNECT printing. The transition from the round cable construction to MPO connector on one side and to the 12 individual tails LC or SC on the other side shall be done via a fan-out that allows to strain relief these cables on both sides.
