Digidat 6 TFT Data terminal … creating safety by technology ! Product information | Digidat 6 TFT Digidat 6 TFT Data terminal The process-controlled 7´´display with touch panel offers numerous future-oriented features: General information 1 2 3 9 10 2 4 5 6 7 8 Housing colours of the Digidat 6 In the standard version, the frame housing comes in anthracite. Optionally, the housing colours red and blue are available. The operating front panel is designed in elegant anodised aluminium. With the BOS Automotive Display Digidat 6 TFT, eurofunk introduces a new data terminal for mobile deployment management. This data terminal enables the transfer of messages and information between the deployed resources and the assigned command centre. For the connection of different means of communication (analogue BOS radio units, TETRA radio units), a universal interface box is available. In addition, it is possible to implement a navigation tool in the data terminal. The navigation tool can be operated directly, or, depending on the system configuration, it can be provided remotely with target coordinates from the command centre. After confirmation of a new deployment order, there are two options to select from: Status screen with display of a route description GPS navigation with graphic display and voice navigation Radio message system - FMS Radio control - FFSK GSM | GPRS UMTS (option) Radio control - TETRA - BOS digital radio Navigation - GPS (12 channels), map material including map and guide, TeleAtlas (option), voice announcements Vehicle mounting support ARAT Swivelling and tilting mechanism CE certified Connection to radio units Connection to GPRS Connection to deployment host computer Control options via data terminal: Gates, traffic lights, barriers Card slot (compact flash) Compact flash controller Integrated loudspeakers (including audio amplifier) 3 x RS 232 USP device and host controller Ethernet 10/100 Mbit Radio status application Chip card reader (option) e. g. for health insurance card, cheque cards, etc. Connection via USB or serial interface Vehicle printer (option) Control elements  1 Display with touch function  2 ouch status buttons  3 Loudspeaker  4 Actual status  5 Status line  6 Read | unread messages  7 Number of deployments  8 Deployment number  9 LED for signalising messages 10 Cursor buttons Applications Control: Digit entry of gate number and setting the state OPEN | CLOSED Memory: Messages older than x hours are automatically erased (freely configurable) Navigation: Variable scale (zoom) Route description with voice assistance Numerous additional functions: – Vehicle status information (on the road without deployment; deployment resources in house, but not ready for deployment) – Information about new deployments, independent of which menu is currently displayed – Easy switching between route description and navigation (routing) with graphical map display Configuration example 00 Emergency call 01 Ready for deployment via radio 02 Ready for deployment in guardhouse 03 D eployment order accepted - on the way to the deployment location 04 A rrived at deployment location; limited availability 05 Deployment related speech request 06 Not ready for deployment 07 On the way to the hospital 77 Control of a garage door 3 Module descriptions Module 1 : Status transmission | Transmission of text messages [Instructions] [ FMS TRBOS installation stage III or TETRA “Short Data Service” ] Display of text messages and instructions from a centre to the terminal. This information is saved on a Compact Flash Card and protected against loss in case of a power outage. The display of the messages takes place in chronological order. The following notification lights are located on the left side of the screen: Signalising a new message - Push to Talk - squelch signal. Transmission of status messages (via FMS TRBOS or TETRA Short Data Service) to the control centre. Module 3 : Status transmission | Transmission of text messages as well as control functions with navigation [ Radio data transmission solution required or TETRA “Short Data Service” ] Display of text messages and instructions from a centre to the terminal. This information is saved on a Compact Flash Card and protected against loss in case of a power outage. The display of the messages takes place in chronological order. The following notification lights are located on the left side of the screen: Signalising a new message – Push to Talk – squelch signal. Transmission of status messages (via FMS TRBOS or TETRA Short Data Service) to the control centre. Menu for controlling gates, traffic lights, barriers, etc. Navigation software package for assistance when driving to the deployment location. The entry of the destination can take place via the terminal user interface or can be transmitted remotely from the command centre into the navigation package. The driver is navigated to the destination by means of voice commands. Module 4 : Status transmission | Transmission of text messages Navigation Control functions Position data transfer [ Radio data transmission solution required or TETRA “Short Data Service” ] Display of text messages and instructions from a centre to the terminal. Transmission of the actual GPS position data to the command centre. Module 5  : Remote control of TETRA radio units 4 Module 2 : Status transmission | Transmission of text messages as well as control functions [ Radio data transmission solution required or TETRA “Short Data Service” ] Display of text messages and instructions from a centre to the terminal. Menu for controlling gates, traffic lights, barriers, etc. This module offers the possibility of operating and controlling a radio unit outside the direct operating range. Radio unit type on request. 5 Technical data “Digidat 6 TFT Display“ Touch screen TFT LC Display 7” in 16:9 format – Resolution 480 x 234 – Suitable for daylight use – Brightness adjustable by integrated sensor | application controlled – High contrast Control panel – Configurable integrated cursor buttons – Integrated bicoloured LED for signalising purposes – Integrated loudspeaker with amplifier unit Volume control via system control or application-dependent Reproduction of signal tones, display of navigation information Processor frequency > 500 MHz – Operating system : Windows CE.net, Linux (optional) Power supply 9 V to 24 V – Low power consumption (max. 700 mA | 10.5 Watt) – Power save mode for saving the on-board power supply in standby mode (0.5 Watt) Vehicle mounting by means of ARAT support Temperature range -20°C to +60°C Overheat control of the terminal with integrated temperature sensor Slot for Compact Flash Card (512 MB card included) 64 MB SDRAM (expansion optional) Miscellaneous interfaces – Ethernet interface : 10 | 100 MB – Digital interface : 2 x In, 1 x Out Dimensions – W x H x D 250 mm x 134 mm x 63 mm – Weight 1 kg Vehicle mounting support – ARAT support for fixed installation as standard – Optional: Easy removable support Magnetic mounting 6 7 UASB 2 [ Universal interface box 2 ] The universal interface box is the link between the Digidat 6 TFT and the selected transmission unit (e. g. analogue radio unit).
