WebApp Cloud Services Data Access Europe BV offers Cloud Services, for the deployment of your DataFlex WebApp Solutions. The service includes “fair use” data-traffic which can be deviated from in a special arrangement. Our systems have an uptime ratio higher than 99%, but due to the nature of the environment, can we not guarantee 100% un-interrupted availability. For hosting a general-purpose website, based on DataFlex CM, a rate of € 15 is charged per month. Services include the use of DataFlex CM), backup(*) of the complete workspace environment, and light maintenance. A mailbox with a maximum of 50MB (total) and 5 e-mail accounts(**), as well as a onetime setup fee of € 150 applies. Extended, tailor-made versions of DataFlex CM can be hosted under our “DataFlex Cloud” conditions. *Up to a maximum of 10GB backup space included. **It is prohibited to send bulk/mass email.

To get exclusive access to a fully configured web server including WebApp Server(*), the monthly rate is starting at € 250. Services include the backup(**) of the complete server. A onetime setup fee of € 150 applies. Special configurations for “hi-availability” features like mirroring, load-balancing or other fault-tolerance can only be offered in a special arrangement, for which other fees apply. (*)

A onetime setup fee of € 350 applies. An agreement for the minimum term of 18 months applies. Special configurations for “hi-availability” features like mirroring, load-balancing or other fault-tolerance can only be offered in a special arrangement, for which other fees apply. (*)

IV DataFlex Co-Location To place your own, fully configured web-server on-line in our server farm, a rate of € 175 is charged per rack unit per month. Full secure ftp access is provided. Services include the backup(*) of the complete workspace environment. Setup fees are based on an hourly rate of € 90. This rate for setup may include the setup and configuration of a complete WebApp Server based on a Windows IIS Server. *Up to a maximum of 100GB backup space included.

Available Bandwidth
The offered bandwidth is based on a none-overbooked 155MB connection to the Internet. When traffic shows peaks of higher than 75% availability Data Access Europe will switch over to additional or alternate to guarantee fast connections. Support and maintenance
During working-hours, in case of server-malfunctions, Data Access responds within 1 hour. In practice this response-time is well within the 1-hour window, we react immediately after a malfunction is reported. If you make use of DataFlex Cloud Services, you implicitly agree to the fact that all systems are kept up-to-date with the latest patches and service packs, for security reasons. When larger updates (Service packs) are installed, previously an image is made, as is with every new system. You will be notified in the case a system will be unavailable for longer time due to maintenance. This type of maintenance work will be scheduled outside regular working hours. Every day the systems event logs, and traces of ftp scans are checked for any improper behavior or possible attacks on the server. Backup and restore procedures
Within limits, full server image backups are made daily with a retention of 14 days, Backup schema’s run at night, be aware that if your system maintains files open at night, to inform our system administrator to see if we can synchronize backup schema’s to allow for backing up all files. Any restores will be done with your approval, upon request. Note: We strongly advise to keep your own set of backups of any software you may deploy on our servers. Security
All servers are configured within the secure infrastructure of Data Access, which includes a DMZ/firewall setup. Customers receive passwords to access their workspaces, if wished VPN access can be arranged, in case a dedicated server is hired, or a co-location contract is in effect. Upon request, at no additional cost, a central facility for HTTPS can be used. Alternatively and at your cost, for licensing and setup, you can run your own certificate for HTTPS, to run a secure connection. Note: Be aware that running a secure connection can negatively influence the performance of your site.
