Datasheet EC-T7-WIFI AX EC-BOS-7 plug-in option card for wireless communication Overview The EC-T7-WIFI option card enables the EC-BOS-7AX to communicate over an 802.11b/g wireless LAN. The EC-BOS-7AX supports a variety of authentication and encryption methods for the WiFi connection. This option card eliminates the need for a hard-wired network connection. This card plugs into a dedicated socket on the EC-BOS-7AX board and includes the required antenna connections for the single antenna needed for the wireless signal. Applications  The EC-T7-WIFI is a plug-in option card designed to be installed in a dedicated socket of an EC-BOS-7AX.  It provides wireless LAN connection capabilities for network access for places where it is not convenient to run a dedicated Ethernet cable to the EC-BOS-7AX.  All necessary hardware is included with the kit to install this option in the EC-BOS-7AX including the card, miniature coax and antenna, plus an extension cable to allow the antenna to be located outside of a metal enclosure that the EC-BOS-7AX is likely to be installed in.
