Pr e - Te st I n order t o ensure t he unit has suffered no dam age in t ransit it is best t o t est t he unit wit h wat er first prior t o filling t he t anks wit h chem icals. For This Reason: ( 1 ) Fill each t ank wit h wat er t o 10m m from shoulder where t he lid sit s on. ( 2 ) Swit ch on t he green m ains ON/ OFF swit ch which should illum inat e. ( 3 ) Check all t he funct ions are working by depressing all t he funct ion swit ches. Leave t hese swit ches on and allow t he t anks t o reach t heir operat ing t em perat ures of 40- 50º C, 25- 30º C, 20- 30º C, 60º C and 30- 40º C respect ively, when t he orange indicat or light will t hen go out . N .B. I t is im port ant t hat t hese t em perat ures are correct and alt hough fact ory set t hey could change depending on t he am bient t em perat ure. I f t his is t he case open t he cabinet doors and you will see a whit e bracket fixed t o each heat ed t ank t o which t he t herm ost at cont roller is fixed. To alt er t he t em perat ure t urn t he brass cont rol spindle ant i- clockwise t o decrease and clockwise t o increase. N .B. I f you decrease when t he heat er is on, t he orange heat er indicat or light will go out and if you increase when t he heat er is off, t he orange indicat or light will go on. ( 4 ) Leave t he heat ed t anks on and preferably t urn t he unit off at t he end of t he day and leave st anding overnight . ( 5 ) Check t he next m orning t hat t here have been no leaks and ensuring all funct ion swit ches are in t he OFF posit ions em pt y t he t anks t hrough drain t aps provided and rem ove any excess wat er in t he bot t om s wit h paper t owels. N .B. I n all cases before filling t he t anks m ake sure t hat t he drain hose rat chet clips and drain t aps are closed and t hat t he t aps have been clipped back int o t he clips provided. The t anks are now ready t o be filled wit h t he chem icals as shown below.
