It comprises two 0.6 mm HFFR tight buffer fibers and an additional 28 AWG copper wire housed within a MiniZIP Triamese construction cable. The SMART Jumper is available with two fiber types - Multi Mode 50/125 OM4 and Single Mode 9.3/125. Each end is terminated with a high performance LC connector and a spring loaded electrical contact housed within a common plastic shell. When inserted into the port of a RiT LC fiber optic patch panel with PatchView capability, both optical and electrical connections are made simultaneously. The copper connection allows the RiT PatchView system to scan all the wiring center's fiber optic connections and report the connectivity results to the network administrator on-line and in real-time. LSZH (HFFR) Constructed of an aramid yarn fiber reinforced halogen-free compound material. The compound is specifically formulated to be fire retardant and, when exposed to high temperatures, emits non-toxic, non-corrosive gases (halogen-free) and low amounts of smoke.
