Datasheet SMART BNC 24 Patch Panel Description The SMART BNC 24 Patch Panel is an intelligent, high-density patch panel offering the option of real-time physical network management with RiT's PatchView system. The SMART BNC 24 patch panel supports up to 48 75-Ohm Coax cables in just 2U of rack space. The panels can be connected to the RiT PatchView system. The system continuously scans the connectivity configuration of all the patch cords and reports it in SNMP to the network administrator's management station.

Connected ports are indicated by a pair of activated LEDs. A single port can be identified and the corresponding LED activated by a remote control command from the network management station.

Smart BNC jumper
The Smart BNC Jumper is a Dual 75-Ohm Coaxial Cable (2/26 AWG) with inner Tracer Wire (22 AWG) cabled together. The cable is housed in a Gray, PVC jacket. The Smart BNC jumper is a special patch cords Designed for BNC applications within a manual Telephone Cross-Connect system and Connectivity for scanning. The SMART BNC Jumper includes a hybrid cable, one Pogo-Pin, two BNC Plugs and molded Boot housing at both sides. The SMART BNC jumper is a product that conforms to ANSI T1.107 guidelines.
