DBPOWER HK108 User Guide DBPOWER HK108 is a Bluetooth car charger; you can transfer the Bluetooth signals (Music and phone call) from your Bluetooth device to FM/AUX device, it has also an 5V, 2A USB charger output; You can also connect DBPOWER HK108’s 3.5mm Aux-out with 3.5mm Aux-in in your car, then you can enjoy stereo music and answer any phone call through your car audio system, If your car does not have the Aux-in jack, the stereo music and phone call can be transferred into your car audio system by FM 88.1M , 96.7M or 107.9M. Features of DBPOWER HK108 DBPOWER HK108 supports memory function by switch on/off, if you start the car engine and the DBPOWER HK108 is still not working; it will switch on when already re-electrified; the same with DBPOWER HK108 switch off condition. Moreover, without the Bluetooth connection you can also switch off the DBPOWER HK108 by keep pressing the FM button for 3 seconds; if you need to switch on the DBPOWER HK108 again, you can keep pressing the FM button for another 3 seconds.
It has also a memory function for FM, the same function for switching on/off. Hands-free function. Pairing mode – Step by step DBPOWER HK108 Pairing mode on mobile phone 1. Make sure to keep the Bluetooth car charger and mobile device within 1 meter distance range, the closer the better. 2. Insert the DBPOWER HK108 to your car cigarette lighter, after electrified, DBPOWER HK108 will turn on automatically, the DBPOWER HK108 will enable the pairing mode, or keep pressing the FM button for 3 seconds then the red light will blink quickly and activate the pairing code mode. 3. Enable the Bluetooth search function on your mobile phone or other devices that need to be connect, the mobile will be display the DBPOWER BA-600 4. Select DBPOWER BA-600 (on some mobile phones you need to type the password 0000 for pairing) select connect; work mode is enabled when the device was successfully paired. The DBPOWER HK108 will connected with your mobile phone automatically then the blue light will blink. Attention: Generally pairing mode time of DBPOWER HK108 is limited to 180 seconds; if the red light starts flashing slowly, it means that the DBPOWER HK108 pairing mode has stopped, if unsuccessful pairing remains please retry the step 1 to 4 again. Connect the HK108 with two mobile phones 1. Switch on DBPOWER HK108; make sure that the pairing mode is activated, this time the red light will blink quickly.
2. Enable the Bluetooth search function on mobile phone 1, the mobile phone will display the HK108, select and connect it. 3. Switch off HK108, and disable the Bluetooth function for “Mobile Phone 1”. 4. Switch on HK108 again, make sure pairing mode is activated, this time red light will blink quickly 5. Enable Bluetooth search function on mobile phone 2, the mobile phone will display the HK108, select then connect. 6. Enable Bluetooth search function on mobile phone 1 again; connect HK108 with your Bluetooth music pod, it will complete the multi-point pairing.
Disconnect the DBPOWER HK108 from the Mobile: Switch off DBPOWER HK108, or switch off the Bluetooth function on your mobile Reconnect the paired DBPOWER HK108 with the mobile phone 1. Make sure the distance of the DBPOWER HK108 and mobile phone is within 1 meter, if closer is better. 2. Every time you switch on the DBPOWER HK108 it will automatically connected to your mobile phone 3. If the Bluetooth connection from the device is not connected with DBPOWER HK108 or the device is very far away from each other, after 25 minutes without any connection the DBPOWER HK108 will go into sleep mode. When the paired devices in closer range to the DBPOWER HK108 unit, you only need to press FM button for a few seconds and the paired Bluetooth device will connect with DBPOWER HK108 quickly. Answer incoming call: Press the “FM Button” to answer the call, or use your mobile phone to answer the call it.
Hands-free function Drop call Press the “FM Button” to drop the incoming call or use your mobile phone to drop your call. Reject call: Short press the “Reject calls” Button or use your mobile phone to reject the call. Last call redialing: Double press the “FM Button” to call the last call. Play/Pause/Music selection Press the “Play” Button to pause the music; press the “Play” Button again to resume the music Press the Next Track Button or Previous Track Button to select previous song or next song.
Volume control Long Press the Vol (+) Button or the Vol (-) Button to adjust the volume while calling or playing music
FM Transmitter All the audio signal which sent by mobile through Bluetooth will be transmitted out by FM radio, DBPOWER HK108 has three different optional appointed frequencies 88.1M,96.7 M, 107.9M, When tuning to the FM appointed frequency in your car same with DBPOWER HK108’s FM appointed frequency ,you can enjoy the music or answer the phone calls through your car audio system (the factory default FM frequency is 88.1M). The DBPOWER HK108 has an FM button, you can press FM button for 3s to switch between the three different appointed FM frequencies (88.1M; 96.7M;107.9M), this button also consist of reject call function.
