Make sure you receive all items of your shipment: • One DCCE-SCP-PPC-525-01 • Two SATA cables • One HDD bracket • One Phoenix terminal • One Driver CD • One printed copy of Quick Start Guide (this document) • One printed copy of Safety Notes Summary • Any other optional items that you ordered When installing or servicing the module or accessories, strictly observe the safety precautions in the Safety Notes Summary. Otherwise, personal injury or property damage may occur. • Use either a properly grounded ESD wrist strap or make sure that you are working in an ESD-safe environment. • Connect to the ESD connector at the front or the rear of the system. 3 Prepare the installation site • For information on the environmental and power requirements, see the DCCE-SCP-PPC-525-01 Installation and Use manual. • Operating temperatures refer to the temperature of the air circulating around the system and not to the actual component temperature. 4 Assembling Storage Bracket 1. Loose all the screws of the rear cover and open the chassis. 2. Plug the storage cable into the related slot of the storage. 3. Line up the four mounting holes on the system and storage bracket. 4. Tighten four related screws to lock the storage bracket. 5. Plug another side of storage cable into the slots on the motherboard. DCCE-SCP-PPC-525-01-Quick Start Guide 5 Installing Memory 1. Take the SO-DIMM out of the antistatic package, holding it by the edges. 2. Line up the notch located on the row of the metal pins. 3. Press the module down against the motherboard until hear it snap into place. The module must be properly aligned before press it down into its final position. Close the rear cover and line up all the holes of front panel and rear cover. 2. Tighten the system with the loosen screws. 3. Loose the screw of the AC-in cover of rear chassis. 4. Tighten power cord with Phoenix header with AC-in board. 5. Lock the AC-in cover with the loosen screw of Step2. 6. Tighten the grounding wire of the power cord with the standoff on the rear chassis using M3.5 screw with coil spring lock washer.
