DCSM-12V REMOTE CALL STATION INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
DESCRIPTION Model DCSM-12V is a duress call station with a 1” pushbutton and a built-in microphone, mounted to a 2-gang stainless steel faceplate. When duress button is pressed, a switch closure activates the Louroe Base Station and identifies the zone in alarm. The base station contains a dry contact for each zone for activating a camera, etc. Person at the base station can listen to the area by pressing the zone switch. Model DCSM-12V is compatible only with Louroe Alarming Base Stations AP-4CS, AP-8CS and AP-12CS. Also with Louroe AVS-4A and AVS-8A Alarming Audio-Follow-Video Switchers. NOTE: DCSM-12V provides one-way listen at the base station. There is no talkback. If two-way audio is required, request Model TLMC-12V Remote Call Station.
WIRING REQUIREMENTS 3 Conductor consisting of: + 2 Conductor shielded, 20 gauge with 22 gauge drain + 1 Conductor unshielded, 20 gauge All in the same jacket West Penn 358 or equivalent

Wiring connection to Model DCSM-12V Remote Call Station Located on the PC Board is a 3-pin terminal blocks marked A, B, C. If using recommended wiring (West Penn 358) connect as follows: RED wire to terminal A (Vdc) BLACK wire to terminal B (Audio Output) BARE wire to terminal C (Ground) WHITE wire connects to Red Wire attached to transformer (alarm function) using a wire nut
Wiring connection to Model AP-4CS / AP-8CS / AP-12CS Base Station Bring other end of the two cables to base station and connect as follows: The base station has a set of terminal blocks marked A, B, C, SP, G, AL, P. Using West Penn 358(or equivalent) connect microphone portion RED wire to terminal A (Vdc) BLACK wire to terminal B (Audio Output) BARE wire to terminal C (Ground) WHITE wire to terminal AL (Alarm)

WARRANTY LOUROE ELECTRONICS warrants that at the time of shipment products manufactured by LOUROE ELECTRONICS to be free of defects in material and workmanship. Should a defect appear within one year (12 months) from date of shipment, LOUROE ELECTRONICS will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective equipment. This equipment shall not be accepted for repair or return without prior notification by LOUROE ELECTRONICS. This warranty does not extend to any Louroe product that has been subjected to improper or incorrect installation, misuse, accident, or in violation of installation instructions provided by LOUROE ELECTRONICS. Returned shipments to LOUROE ELECTRONICS shall be at customer’s expense. LOUROE ELECTRONICS will return the equipment prepaid via best way.
