Dear SASTA 2016 Delegate, This newsletter has been prepared to provide you, with information relating to the SASTA Congress. We look forward to welcoming you to Durban and to the Conference and wish you a pleasant trip. Venue and Parking International Convention Center – Durban, 45 Bram Fischer Road. The congress will take place on the Arena side of the International Convention Centre again this year. Please access the parking on Dr AB Xuma Street (formerly Commercial Road). Parking tickets will be available from the Registration Desk, collect a ticket on arrival and swop it for an exit ticket before you leave in the afternoon. Onsite Registration Procedures Please bring your personal registration number and a form of ID to the registration desk at the International Convention Centre to collect your registration materials. If you are registering for the first time or paying your registration fees onsite, please report to the Onsite Registration Desk. The Registration Desk Operating Hours will be as follows: Tuesday 16 August 07h30 – 18h00 Wednesday 17 August 07h30 – 18h00 Thursday 18 August 07h30 – 14h00 Speaker Preparation Room If you are speaking at the congress please visit the Speaker Preparation Room in the Arena Foyer, you will need to upload your presentation before you report to the meeting room you are presenting in. This should be done preferably 24 hours prior to your presentation. For more information please refer to the Presenters Instructions that were emailed to you. The Speaker Preparation Operating Hours will be as follows: Tuesday 16 August 07h30 – 18h00 Wednesday 17 August 07h30 – 18h00 Thursday 18 August 07h30 – 14h00 Tea Breaks and Lunches Tea/Coffee and lunch will be served in the Exhibition Hall. Welcome Cocktail Reception You are invited to the SASTA 2016 Congress Welcome Cocktail Reception on Tuesday 16 August at 16h30, we look forward to seeing you there SASTA Exhibition The exhibition hall will be open as follows: Tuesday 16 August 07h30 – 18h30 Wednesday 17 August 08h00 – 17h00 Thursday 18 August 08h00 – 13h30 Medical Emergencies A paramedic will be available onsite for any medical emergencies, please contact the registration desk for assistance.
