WEAR IT PINK DAY The Pink Panther, face painting and novelty cakes were all part of the fun as Madeira were tickled pink for another day of fund raising in support of The Breast Cancer Appeal.
THE CONSPIRATORS Some exciting in-house gossip! After three successful singles ‘Turning Green’, ‘Bubbles ‘and ‘Jekyll & Hyde’, our very own John Gillies and his band The Conspirators have released their first album! The album, entitled ‘What’s Going On’ was released for sale on 22nd October and is available to buy from places such as Amazon UK, HMV and Play.com. HINTS & TIPS FROM PROFESSOR T.H. READ GETTING A GRIP ON SUPERTWIST 1. Firstly change your needle. For Supertwist No.30 use needle size 90. 2. For Supertwist No.30 loosen the top thread tension on your machine. It is advisable to run a test in order to get the correct tensions before going into production. 3. Placing a net over the cone will help keep the thread taut whilst running through the machine. 4. Threading the needle can be tricky due to the thread’s loose twist and thickness. One trick is to tie a normal 40 weight thread around the Supertwist then thread that through the needle.
