Common failure analysis and troubleshooting ■ Replacement of wearing parts 1. The resistance rubber should be replaced if severely worn. Remove the supporting plate from the feeder, press down the slipping plate manually; take away severely worn resistance rubber, and then install a new one. Re-assemble all removed items to the counterfeit detector finally. 2. If the entwisting gear is severely worn, the counterfeit detector will suffer blocking in paper money feeding process or won’t count in an accurate manner. Take away the supporting plate, and remove the plastic side cover of both right and left sides. Then replace worn gear rubber gasket with new items. Re-assemble all removed items to the counterfeit detector finally. 3. Replace the ultraviolet lamp: firstly open the top cover, remove the ultraviolet lamp case; replaced with a new ultraviolet lamp. Re-assemble all removed items to the counterfeit detector finally.

Welcome to use DELI Counterfeit Detector. The product will act as your best helper in paper money counterfeit detection. Please read the Manual carefully before using, and follow the instructions said in the Manual to operate the product correctly.
This Counterfeit Detector is a Class-A product, which may generate radio interference to surroundings. In this case, please ensure to take proper measures to prevent from such the interference.
Safety precautions and maintenance 1. The counterfeit detector power outlet should be properly grounded, and its voltage value should be within the specified range. 2. This counterfeit detector should run at temperature of 0 °C - 40 °C; if the temperature is less than 0 ° C or more than 40 °C, the counterfeit detector won’t work normally. 3. During using process of counterfeit detector, please keep away from any electrical appliances (such as mobile phones, electric drills, welding machines, etc.) that are strongly interferential to the grid where your counterfeit detector is connected; please avoid direct exposure under strong sunshine and strong magnetic field interference, otherwise, the counterfeit detector may be incapable of detecting counterfeit paper money. 4. The counterfeit detector should be periodically de-dusted; before detecting, please DO POWER OFF and unplug the power outlet. 5. Please DO POWER OFF before the counterfeit detector is to be standby for a long term or operators leave. 6. In case of the following conditions, please POWER OFF and inform the professional service personnel for further treatment. A. The counterfeit detector is splashed and becomes wet

Common failure analysis and troubleshooting Simple failure analysis and troubleshooting Before maintenance service, please check normality of the following items by yourself: (Turn on the power)

Operation guide ■ 1. insert one end of the power cord into the power outlet of rear cover, and connect the other end of the power cord into a socket (AC 220V) under power grid; if you have purchased an external monitor, please connect the external monitor to the counterfeit detector via the back cover’s outlet for external monitor. Turn on the power switch, the counting display shows the number “0”, and the preset display show nothing. If any other symbols are displayed, please see failure self-diagnosis codes and troubleshooting. 2. In order to avoid detection error and damages to paper money, the following paper money should be excluded before counting: A. Repaired with white paper;
B. Washed paper money;
C. Stained seriously;
D. Broken or cracked;
3. Fast counting If you only need to count the number of paper money without counterfeit detection, please press the “Function” button and switch to 'counting' options, and then entwist a stack of paper money with the same denomination into a certain slope, and place on the sliding plate, the machine will automatically complete counting; when all paper money has been fed from the sliding plate into the counterfeit detector, the counterfeit detector will stop counting; the counter displays the number at this time. Remove paper money from receiving plate. After each operation, the readings as displayed in the counter will be zero and re-counted under automatic control. ■Correct counting method Firstly, please neaten the paper money to be counted, and classify them by different denominations, remove repaired and dirty items. Evenly entwist paper money at a small slope; a stack of paper money should be unbundled and then evenly entwist; finally, place them in inlet of sliding plate. As shown, Figure 1 is proper operation method; Figure 2 & 3 are wrong operation methods. As shown in Figure 2, the operator entwists at the wrong slope direction, as shown in Figure 3, the operator fails to entwist paper money at a small slope.
Function descriptions Classification (Flash): Available to classify and separate any paper money at different denomination under the fifth version of RMB. Classification: Available to classify and separate any paper money at different denomination under the fifth version of RMB, with strong counterfeit detection capacity. Counting: Counterfeit detection via fluorescent, available to classify and separate mixed RMB paper money at different versions and different denominations, especially for low-denomination paper money and notes.
■ Mode Press the “Mode” button to switch “Preset” state or “Accumulate” state. The corresponding indicator lights up on the display, indicating that it has been switched to “Preset” state or “Accumulate” state. Preset mode: Press the “Mode” button once to enable the display shows the word “Preset” and indicates the number 100 on the bottom of display. If no paper money is placed on the feeding plate, operate “Zero / + 10' and 'Reset / + 1” to re-set the preset number of pieces. When the counterfeit detector reaches the preset value, it will automatically stop; please remove paper money from receiving plate and perform the next operation. Cancel the preset mode: press the “Mode” button to exit. Accumulation mode: Press the “Mode” button twice, and the corresponding “Accumulate” indicator lights up on the display, indicating that it has been switched to “Accumulate” state. Please remove paper money from receiving plate after completion of each counting operation, and the accumulated value is displayed at the bottom of the display, including current and previous values. Cancel accumulation mode: press the “Mode” button and the word “Accumulate” disappears.
■ Zero When the motor stops running and no alarm condition appears, it is available to zero current value; in case of any alarm condition, press the “Zero” button to exit the alarm status.
■ Reset When the motor stops running and no alarm condition appears, it is available to zero current value, and start the motor. Press the “Zero” button to exit the alarm status.
Function descriptions ■ Alarm If any counterfeit paper money or suspected paper money is found in the counting process, the counterfeit detector will enable alarm indicator and also ring alarming sound: If any cracked (half) paper money or overlaid (sticky) paper money is found in the counting process, the counterfeit detector will automatically stop; the first piece on the receiving plate will be counterfeit: the counterfeit detector will ring alarming sound: Codes

Common failure analysis and troubleshooting ■Adjustment method of the feeder When the paper money is blocked in feeding process or the counterfeit detector is incapable of counting accurately, please operate screws of the feeder to adjust the gap between resistance rubber and entwisting gear, and then place one piece of paper money between resistance rubber and entwisting gear and stop adjustment once tensile force appears there (clockwise for tightening, counterclockwise for releasing).

Function descriptions ■ Functions If necessary, press the “Function” key to select Smart, Totalize, Classify (Flash), Classify and Count functional options, and the display shows the corresponding state. Smart: distinguish 5-Yuan or higher RMB paper money among different denominations of items at the fifth version, with strong counterfeit detection capacity. Totalize: the display window displays the aggregate number in real-time during counting of denomination-mixed paper money at the fifth version, and available in strong counterfeit detection.
