New Features This section provides the list of new features in this release. Unified build This build supports English (en-US) and three MUI languages —fr-CA, ja-JP, and deDE.
General Features Imaging support using WDM/USB Imaging units using WDM/ USB has two scenarios depending on type of build on which it is being pushed.
Non-Unified build
For updating Unified MUI build, on top of the non-unified build is a two-step process. 1. The WDM Add-on is used to write the desired languages metadata to the Merlin partition of the non-unified build. The command line (For FrenchCanada LanguageConfig.exe fr-FR) language option can be pushed to the client to write the required language metadata to the Merlin partition by using the WDM add-on with the Unified Language selection tool LanguageConfig.exe. 2. Push the Unified MUI image on top of the non-unified build with language metadata in Merlin partition. Imaging brings up the unit in the same MUI language present in Merlin.
Unified MUI build
As the unified MUI build has the language metadata in Merlin partition, imaging the Unified MUI build brings up the unit in the same MUI language present in Merlin. If you want to change the language, then the Unified Language selection tool LanguageConfig.exe can be used to write the language metadata to Merlin partition. Reimaging the unit with the unified MUI build brings up the unit in desired language option selected with the tool. Hardware Support Information This release supports the following hardware:

Wyse Configuration Manager Behavior
WCM service is enabled by default in this WES7P 7020 build. Following are the behavior if WCM service is enabled in the build: o If Network Cable is connected, and WCM is not configured in that network, then WCM Flash Screen appears and immediately disappears before logon to the Users. o In case WCM is configured in the Network, and same network cable is connected to the client, then it starts downloading the WCM. Configuration Settings from server and apply to client before logon to the Users. o If no network cable is connected, then WCM Splash Screen appears and stays for a few Seconds before logon to the Users.
For more information of WCM, Please refer the Dell Wyse Configuration Manager 1.3 Release Document. Dell Wyse vWorkspace After installation of Dell Wyse vWorkspace, install .txt file is created in C:\

C-A-D Tool By default the build contains C-A-D tool, but in a disabled state. To enable the C-A-D tool, do the following: 1. Log in to the system using Admin account. 2. Disable the Write Filter. 3. Start command prompt in elevated mode. 4. Enter cd c:\windows\system32. 5. Run DWKBFilterMon.exe –enable and reboot. 6. Enable the Write Filter. Flash.sys Hostname Calculation and Preservation – This option allows you to enable and disable the Hostname Calculation in flash.sys.
You can disable or enable the Hostname Calculation.
Ensure that altering the MAC ID for a client does not perform a Host name Calculation.
If you require a host name calculation to perform after a change in MAC ID (NIC card change), then you must use MINWITHNET.
Event Viewer log preservation This feature allows you to enable or disable Event Viewer log saving while Write Filter (FBWF) is on. This feature enables you to collect event logs if they are required for debugging or analysis purposes. Dell Thin Client Application
Dell Client Application is a replacement for Client Information Application with a new User Interface (UI).
This application contains more fields for accessing and configuring Custom Fields, RAM Disk, Auto Logon, C-A-D Map Tool, and System Shortcuts.
By default, the RAM disk size is set to 512 MB.
