The brewing unit is the heart of a bean to cup coffee machine. It is electronically controlled to deliver an exceptional coffee, every time. It collects ground coffee, automatically tampers it to the correct pressure, precisely extracts the coffee through filters, and then deposits the used ground coffee to a container. It auto-rinses too. Removable Milk Carafe: De’Longhi patented milk carafes allow you to make a cappuccino or latte with just the touch of a button. Versatile: The carafe uses steam to heat up and froth milk, automatically pouring this directly into your cup. A selection dial can be adjusted to vary the amount of froth delivered from frothy Cappuccino to smooth Caffelatte.
Easy to clean: It can be plugged into the front of the machine to make your drink and then removed to place in the fridge until next use. Since it only heats the milk it uses, a special auto-clean feature can be activated to use steam to clean these parts. It dismantles easily into just 5 parts and is dishwasher safe. Tubeless Conical Burr Grinder: The De’Longhi patented tubeless system has an industry leading design to minimise the amount of coffee left in the grinder, so that every coffee maintains all the flavour and aroma of freshly ground beans.

You can adjust the length, strength, and the temperature of your coffee, ratio of milk and coffee, the froth density of your milk, and the grind setting.
Easy Cleaning Systems: Auto Clean Milk Carafe: De’Longhi patented Removable milk carafe available on select models can be steam-cleaned at the touch of a button, so that the carafe can be put back in the fridge after use. Carafes are also dishwasher safe for a thorough clean every few days.
Auto Rinsing: De’Longhi Bean to Cup coffee machines have an auto rinse feature. This automatically activates when the machine is first switched on and turned off. It uses hot water to rinse and heat the internal mechanisms so that the first coffee is always fresh and hot.
Auto Descaling: Lime-scale build up can cause damage to coffee machines, as well as reducing its energy efficiency and coffee quality. All coffee machines require regular descaling.

Advanced Milk frother: Some De’Longhi milk frothers come with a variable frothing wand to easily achieve the perfect frothy Cappuccino or a flat Caffelatte consistency with no prior practice.
(available on select bean to cup machines only) Thermoblock: Thermoblock is an advanced type of boiler technology that only heats the water for your coffee serving achieving a stable, accurately controlled water temperature that is crucial for brewing the perfect coffee. It reduces warm-up time so that your coffee machine is ready for use in seconds and is also more energy efficient than traditional boilers. De’Longhi coffee machines that have the patented milk carafe system are designed with two thermoblocks, to more accurately control the difference in temperature between coffee brewing and milk frothing, ensuring the coffee is never burned. Water Filter: Can be installed in some De’Longhi coffee machine water tanks to improve coffee flavour, reduce limescale build up and the frequency to descale coffee machines by filtering minerals from the water. Reduced limescale in the machine can also improve energy efficiency.

Energy Saving Features: Available on select De’Longhi coffee machines, once activated, significantly reduces the energy consumption after a short period of inactivity, whilst also allowing a coffee to be made quickly with rapid re-activation.
