Put two AA1.5V new batteries into the Batter y Slot (17) according to th e positive and negative polarity, or plug exte rnal power in the Extern al Power Jack (16). 2. Press the Power Sw itch & Volume Control (1 4) to turn on the power switch, and adjust it to the optimum volume. 3. Press the FM Band Switch (6) to receive FM program, meanwhile the FM Indicator (7) lights up . 4. Press the AM Band Switch (8) to receive AM program, meanwhile the AM Indicator (9) lights up . and move the band selector (1) to receive M W, SW1-7 program, 5. Turn the Tuner (2), watch the Frequency Ind icating Window (3) and d ial poi nter select your desired program. 6. When the received station is right and statio n signal is strong, the Tun ing Indicator (10) lights up. 7. When you receive F M or SW station, please pull out the Telescopic An tenna(11)and change its length and angle for better reception. 8. Receiving MW by u sing internal magnetic an tenna, and you can get b etter reception by rotatin g the direction of the r adio. 9. Local & DX sensitiv ity switch is set in the rad io, convenient for you to receive SW, FM program s under different circu m stances. In general, p lease set the switch to the position of DX; if you receive local station s with strong signal or m eet strong electric jam, p lease set the switch to the position of Local. 10. In order not to affe ct others, please insert the earphones in the Earp hones Socket (15) (the speaker inside the radio disconnects autom atically), you can listen to the radio by earphones . 11. When you do not w ant to listen to the radio, please move the Power S witch & Volume Control (14) down. 1.
