BRINGING OPEN SPACES TO LIFE. UNIQUELY ATTRACTIVE.
Company building IDOM – Bilbao, Spain The leading Company in the Spanish market for engineering, architecture and consulting placed the highest requirements on design, ecology and sustainability when renovating their location and, rightly so, they put their 8 faith in REHAU to do this.
The highlight is the around 3,000 m² roof area completely covered with a green carpet made from natural and artificial turf, on which a unique relaxation area with indoor and outdoor areas has been created: Around 200 m² of RELAZZO decking in a lounge style as well as open spaces make relaxing breaks possible today.

The passion for discovering and using the unlimited potential of polymer materials has made REHAU a global leader. Many years of experience and material expertise are also reflected in the RAU-WOOD material, a high quality WPC (Wood-Polymer-Composite) that was developed by REHAU experts.
COLOURS THAT DO NOT FADE. The RELAZZO boards are UV-resistant. The colour characteristics are therefore retained for many years. The natural patina of wood is already achieved shortly after installation.
DESIGN AND FEEL GUARANTEED. Attractive, modern colours and sophisticated surfaces guarantee a wonderfully pleasant feeling for bare feet, whilst the simple installation is unrestricted in terms of size and shape offers unlimited design options.
PERMANENTLY DIMENSIONALLY STABLE AND SPLINTER-PROOF. The decking system offers enormous stability even under severe stress and heavy loads, regardless of size and design. In addition to this, it is guaranteed splinter-proof practically without any maintenance work.

RESISTANT TO HEAT, COLD AND MOISTURE. The RAU-WOOD material guarantees weathering resistance, even in strong sunlight, high heat, moisture or cold, and similarly the dimensional stability and strength of the profile. This facilitates unlimited applications, even directly next to water – both by the pool and by the sea
MINIMUM CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE WORK. Lasting pleasure with minimal effort – cracks and splinters are a thing of the past. Also time-consuming painting, oiling and sanding are no longer required, spraying with warm water and once or twice a year with a high pressure cleaner is sufficient: even mould and rust do not stand a chance. INNOVATIVE ECOLOGY. RELAZZO profiles are fully recyclable – they are easy to dispose of: The boards and substructure are classed as biomass. Due to the significantly longer service life, virtually no subsequent treatment is required. In the long run, they are therefore also far more economical than conventional timber flooring.

Patios become an individual expression of the building that they complement, and the people that design and use them. The modern and elegant grooving of the boards give them not only the natural wood character, but make them non-slip and splinter-proof, as a result of which they are also ideally suited for installation on steps. RELAZZO also comes into its own as an indoor flooring solution. The decking planks are available in two decorative designs – grooved and ridged as well as two widths: RELAZZO origin 140 mm or RELAZZO pro 194 mm. The latter scores points due to its large dimensions – which enable a particularly rapid installation – its extraordinary and solid width and an especially attractive appearance, as the material allows fewer joints to be created.

The assembly system developed by REHAU simplifies the installation of the decking enormously. It not only offers a precise and rapid assembly, but also straightforward, non-destructive and swift dismantling of even individual boards if required.
For edging and step solutions as well as special design variants, RELAZZO edge with a width of 140 mm has additionally been developed which, due to its solid profile, can be cut to any shape.
