For hundreds of thousands of years, people have used fire to warm themselves, cook on and gather round. Maybe it was round the campfire that we as people developed our language and shared our experiences. It’s not surprising then that fire still fascinates us and gives us a sense of inner calm. Today, we can enjoy a beautiful fireplace and cosy warmth indoors without worrying about flues, soot, smoke and stores of firewood. Vauni offers a unique fireplace that you can place anywhere you want and that runs on environmentally friendly fuel. The fireplace is also designed in Sweden and is safe and easy to use. WARMTH
Vauni’s fireplaces are flueless and use pure bioethanol. This means that the energy that is added goes straight into the room in the form of cosy warmth – instead of disappearing out through the chimney as with conventional wood stoves. The heat output is 2-3 kW depending on the model, which is roughly half that of a wood stove. It provides cosy warmth without making the room too hot – quite simply a fireplace to suit modern houses. 5

In Sweden, dark winter evenings and cold nights have led us to have a very special relationship with the fireplace. We also have a special relationship with design and high quality products. Vauni’s fireplaces are a result of close cooperation between Swedish designers and innovators from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg. So, it’s not surprising that the spherical Globe is made using pressure welding and advanced laser cutting. Our ethanol burners have unique properties in terms of function and safety – in other words, a beautiful combination of aesthetics and technology. 7

THE EASIEST WAY TO LIGHT A FIRE | It’s never been easier to have a fireplace in your home. User-friendliness is one of the biggest advantages of flueless technology. All you need to do to enjoy a fire is to top it up with ethanol, light it and adjust the flame. Turn it off! Forget the ash, soot, fire, smoke and firewood that has to be brought in – just cosy warmth. 8

ENVIRONMENT
Our bioethanol fireplaces are heated in a modern and environmentally friendly way. This means that the combustion is completely clean and only small amounts of carbon dioxide and water vapour are formed – just like in the air you breathe out. That’s why Vauni does not need a flue and you can put the fireplace in any room you want. Our own fuel, Vauni Eco Flame, is optimised for ethanol burners. It is also fragrance-free, biologically degradable and 100% renewable. 11

The circular insert, which surrounds the ethanol burner, is available in three different designs: matt cast iron finish, polished black granite and white marble. Vauni cupola | a wall-mounted fireplace with the well-known Vauni design.
Cupola sounds like an Italian dessert but is in fact a tasteful way to make any room cosier. The classic, clean design and compact format means that the fireplace will match your modern interior. The characteristic profile in light aluminium becomes a decorative part of the interior. Cupola is just as easy to fix to the wall as a flat screen TV. It offers completely new opportunities to decorate your home with fire. Just like the other Vauni fireplaces, Cupola is equipped with an advanced, adjustable ethanol burner. That means safe, problem-free fire without a flue.

Vauni divider | has clean forms and glazed sides to maximise the effect of the fire. Place it anywhere in the room.
As the name suggests, Divider is an ideal room divider with transparent glass and a beautifully formed mantelpiece that appears to float in the air, so the fire can be seen from every angle. The fireplace is an ideal mood creator for everyday life and special occasions. Divider is fitted with a newly developed bioethanol burner with an extra wide flame and an impressive light display from the flames. The heat output and size of the flame can easily be controlled with the adjustment rod.

Vauni Edge | is a wall-mounted flueless fireplace of typical simple and timeless Scandinavian design.
The simple, clean lines of the fireplace will suit most interiors. As well as being decorative, the heat source provides mood lighting and nice warmth. Ease of installation and low temperature at the back means that Edge can be fitted to most types of rigid walls. The thin design makes the fireplace look as if it is built into the wall. Vauni Edge is available in three elegant designs: a black front, white finish or brushed stainless steel.

Vauni shadow | is a flueless fireplace with a glass front that hangs on the wall.
The unique front of safety glass gives Shadow an elegant appearance. It is also a practical solution that protects the fireplace and is easy to open to access the burner. With the low temperature at the back of the fireplace and the ease of installation, Shadow can be hung on most rigid walls. The thin design means that the fireplace looks as if it is built into the wall, and, just like our other fireplaces, Shadow looks good whether it is lit or turned off.
