Function Description

Flash or Recall To switch between 2 lines.

(RECALL/FLASH)
Description
This button functions as “last number redial” when making a call (32 digits maximum). Called number longer than 32 digits will not be kept in redial memory. This button functions as “pause” when programming a telephone number into a memory bank.
(SPEAKER)
To put your phone off-hook for on-hook dialling. To switch back, simply pick up the headset and speak as normal.
To select ringer level (off/ low/ high).

When a headset (purchased separately) is connected to the headset jack, conversation can be made via a headset.
To enter the digits 0-9 To enter To enter One touch memory (20 digits maximum). A single push on those buttons to make calls with stored telephone numbers. Please refer to instruction for users, section “One Touch Memory”.

To set current time to the clock. This button functions as STORE when programming a telephone number into a memory bank. Please refer to memory programming sections for details. To view the last dialled number and its call duration.
Two Touch Memory (20 digits maximum).10 Two Touch Memory banks can be accessed via this button. Please refer to instruction for users, section “Two Touch Memory”. This button functions as “MUTE” during conversation. Press and hold this button and your voice will not pass through the microphone. To resume, release the button.

Congratulation on your purchase of this DESIGNER’S PHONE. This phone is designed with finishing touch by renowned Danish designer with consideration of form and function.
In addition, its built-in speaker phone and memories provide you great convenience to manage your phone calls. This Instruction for Users briefly describes the installation procedures and all built-in features at a glance.

This phone performs all basic functions supported by your network providers. It works with most PABX switching system (please consult your switching system provider for details).
1. Make sure your phone is in on-hook state. 2. Push (SET) button, and the date entry on the LCD screen will start to flash. 3. Press button to set the right entry. 4. Then, press button to confirm and move to the next entry. 5. The setting sequence is " DAY-MONTH-HOUR-MINUTE ". After completion, press button again to exit.

Normal Operation Installation
To make a call
Referring to the Main Diagram section, 1. 2. 3. 4.
Remove the bottom plate by unscrewing the screws. Connect the coil cord to the jack on the base unit. Replace the bottom plate. Connect one end of the line cord to the jack on the base unit, and the other end to the wall outlet for telephone.
To make a call, simply pick up the handset or press (SPEAKER) and wait for the dialling tone. Then, dial the desired telephone number with the keys. To end a call, replace the handset onto the cradle of the base unit, or push the hook switch. Referring to the “Function Description” section and find out detailed functions associated with each individual button.
Operation with On-Hook Dialling This designer’s phone is built with On-Hook Dialling (OHD) function. You may enter the phone number to be called after pushing (SPEAKER) to put your phone off-hook. And, OHD works with phone numbers stored in memory bank and redial button. (There is an optional handsfree speaker phone function for this designer's phone.Please check packaging description for details. For handsfree speaker phone version, you may talk to the other end via the speaker and mic without lifting the handset.)
One Touch Memory One Touch Memory provides you with the easiest way to make a call to a frequently used number. Follow the instructions listed below to store a number into the One Touch Memory bank:-

Lift the handset or press (SPEAKER) button. Push (STORE) button and a icon will show on the display. Enter the phone number for the entry Press (STORE) button again. Push a desired One Touch button. Replace the handset.
To make a call with One Touch Memory button, simply pick up the handset or press (SPEAKER) and wait for dialling tone, press the desired One Touch Memory (M1, M2...) button. And, the stored phone number sequence will be shown on the display and dialled out automatically.

Two Touch Memory

Lift the handset or press (SPEAKER) button. Push (STORE) button and a icon will show on the display. Enter the phone number for the entry. Push (STORE) button again followed by a desired memory bank from 0 to 9. Replace the handset.
T o make a call with Two T ouch memory, simply pick up the handset or press (SPEAKER) and wait for dialling tone, push (MEMORY) followed by a desired memory bank location from 0 to 9. And, the store phone number sequence will be shown on the display and dailled out automatically.
Maintenance 1. Do not expose this product to dust, strong sunlight, humidity, high temperature, or mechanical shock. 2. Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleansers on this product. Keep the unit dust free by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. 3. Do not disassemble this product, it contains no user-serviceable parts. 4. In case of a thunderstorm, it is advised to disconnect the designer’s phone, as product warranty does not cover damage caused by lightning / serge.

My phone does not work! Make sure all connection of coil cord and line cord are connected securely to the jacks. Push the hook switch once and wait for dialling tone again. If you have connected more than one phone to the same telephone line, make sure all other telephones connected are put on-hook. In some telephone systems, when the first phone on the same telephone line is used, all other telephones are electrically disconnected. A1. Try to connect another telephone to the telephone socket, if the problem persists, it appears that there is a problem with your telephone line system, consult your network provider. A1. If the person of the other end of the conversation does not hear your voice, make sure you have not pressed the (MUTE) button.

Q2. My phone does not ring! A2. Check if the ringer switch is on the OFF ( ) position. Your phone will not ring if the ringer switch is on the OFF ( ) position. Change the position of ringer switch to LOW ( ) or HIGH ( ). A2. Make sure the connection of line cord are connected securely to the jacks. Q3. The memory buttons do not work as expected! A3. Make sure you do not enter telephone number longer than limits mentioned in the memory buttons section. A3. If your phone is connected behind a PABX system, consult your system provider for information of timed pause delay required to make an external call.
