Inserting the Batteries 1. Open the battery cover, and insert 2 x AA 1.5V batteries (not included) into the Battery 2.

Use the Radio Station Tuner to tune the stations, and the tuned frequency will be shown on the LCD Display. Adjust the Telescopic Antenna for optimal reception (see Antennas) Insert an earphone plug into the Earphone Jack to listen privately, and the speaker will automatically switch off. To turn off the radio, rotate the Volume Control Dial downward until hear a click.
To Set the Time 1. 12:00 is set as the default time after the batteries have been installed. 2. Hold down the Time Set Button, and press the Hour or Minute Button simultaneously until the 3. 4. 5.

The clock is operated in 12 hour format, and the PM Display will appear when the clock is reading PM. Please be sure PM and AM is correctly set for the clock. If you would like to check the time, rotate the Volume Control Dial downward until hear a click to turn off the radio, and the time will then be shown in the LCD Display.
To Set the Alarm 1. Make sure the radio is turned off 2. Hold down the Alarm Set Button, and press the Hour or Minute Button simultaneously until the correct hour and minute is set. Press the Alarm Set Button to check the set alarm time, and the alarm start time will appear in the LCD Display.

Alarm Wake to Radio 1. After the alarm time is set, turn on the radio by using the Volume Control Dial. 2. Use the Band Selector to select the wave range, and tune the stations by using the Radio Station Tuner.

Pull out the Telescopic Antenna (2) and adjust it’s length and angle for optimum reception. AM The sensitive ferrite core antenna inside the unit will provide excellent AM reception in most areas for optimum reception. Turn the unit in the direction which gives the best results since the ferrite core antenna is directional. SW 1-8 Extend the Telescopic Antenna (2) fully in a vertical position.
