Diagnostic Monitor
RX250 provides high image quality, advantageous for the fields of traditional radiology and tomography, as well as for carrying out 3D image segmentation and for combining images made using different imaging methods. The 2megapixel resolution means radiological images are displayed in crystal-clear quality. In terms of image sharpness, the RX250 stands out with a new blur-reducing function. This ensures that detailed contours, which are hampered by antireflection technology and image brightness, are readily visible on the screen. As a result, the reproduced image is as clear as possible. Narrow black frontal bezels make this device ideal for use in dark environments. They make it easy to visually concentrate on the display. Meanwhile, a white bezel at the side of the monitor creates a fresh, clean look. The device’s design and technology offer ergonomic comfort as well as one-of-a-kind image precision for use in modern radiology. 2 megapixel color display with consistently higher and more stable brightness Clearly defined images thanks to blur reduction Automatic luminance distribution control (Digital Uniformity Equalizer) Set up for calibration, acceptance, and consistency testing in accordance with DIN 6868-157 and QSRL Effortless quality control and built-in calibration sensor Lower power consumption and heat output Light sensor to measure ambient light at the diagnostic station Presence sensor means monitor is ready for immediate use whenever the user is in front of it Ergonomic design with fresh, clean look Compact dimensions and narrow bezels

Features Precise color control Color reproduction is controlled via a 12 -bit look-up table (LUT). Max. 10 bit resolution, or up to one billion hues, is available via DisplayPort. Automatic luminance distribution control The Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) function compensates for imbalances in brightness and chrominance that might otherwise be distributed across the display surface. Grayscale reproduction across the entire display surface is more even than it would be on LCD monitors without this function. Effortless quality control An integrated sensor ensures precise calibration of white balance and tonal values. This integrated sensor is located beneath the bezel in sleep mode and extends to the display surface when measurements are being performed, without disturbing image reproduction in radiology. The integrated sensor can be used with RadiCS during calibration. The integrated sensor also allows for fully independent, automatic self-calibration. This saves both time and money. DIN 6868-157 capable The imaging properties, in particular brightness and contrast, are suitable for configuring DIN 6868-157 compatible image reproduction systems in accordance with RadiCS application classes II to VIII. Blur reduction Due to overexposure, LCD panels with high brightness tend to produce images that are not as sharp as the actual image that was taken. Because of this, EIZO offers blur reduction built into the monitor hardware. This ensures that detailed contours are readily visible on the screen, which makes the reproduced image as clear as possible. Luminance control A backlight sensor, installed out of sight behind the image plane, continuously measures the luminance. Predefined or calibrated values are displayed rapidly and accurately after the monitor switches on and maintained at all times while it is in use. EIZO guarantees consistently high and stable brightness. This guarantee ensures an operating time of 30000 hours or five years (whichever occurs first) if the device is operated at the recommended brightness level of 400 cd/m². Perfectly designed for diagnostic use Narrow black frontal bezels make this device ideal for use in dark environments. They make it easy to visually concentrate on the display. Meanwhile, a white bezel at the side of the monitor creates a fresh, clean look. Presence sensor The presence sensor switches the screen on and off automatically, depending on whether the user is in front of the screen, and detects the user’s return even before the keyboard or mouse are touched. The screen is therefore ready for use at all times, while consuming less energy and increasing monitor usage time when not in operation.

Easy multi-screen solution The signal input and output on the monitor enable multiple RX250 devices to be interlinked via its DisplayPort interface. This makes it very easy to create multi-screen solutions without requiring a large number of annoying cables. RadiCS Optional software for calibration, acceptance, and consistency testing. RadiCS provides extensive validations and automatic adjustment to ensure constant and consistent image reproduction.

The duration of the warranty for the product is five years from the date of purchase. The warranty also extends to normal wear and tear of the backlight if this is operated at a recommended maximum brightness level of 400 cd/m² and a white point of 7500 K. EIZO guarantees this brightness for five years from the date of purchase or a monitor usage time of 30000 hours, whichever occurs first.
