The DIALOG PLUS RACK series comprises the 7001000-1500-2000-3000VA models and uses double conversion technology (VFI). The load is powered continuously by the inverter with an EMI filtered, stabilised and regulated sinewave supply. The input and output EMI filters considerably increase the immunity of the load to mains disturbances and surges, even on bypass. The UPS can power the load for long periods (using battery extension packs) or provide sufficient runtime to allow shut-down of the protected computer systems using the PowerShield² software, supplied as standard, for Windows 95, 98, 2000, Me, XP, Mac OSx, 9.x, Linux NT 4.0 operating systems. For outstanding power protection and communication DIALOG PLUS RACK is the best solution for sensitive and “mission-critical” applications. 2-YEAR WARRANTY
CHARACTERISTICS • reliable, stabilized, filtered voltage (double on-line conversion technology (VFI according to EN500913 specifications) with filters for the suppression of atmospheric disturbances • high level immunity to surges (6kV according to IEC801-5) • auto restart at power-up (programmable) • power factor correction of the load (UPS input power factor, close to 1) • low power consumption (programmable “Auto Power Off” function for automatic shut-down of the UPS under no-load conditions) • simplified maintenance • battery optimisation: using the Power Share function - DLPR70 and DLPR100 - for automatic, software-programmable disconnection of non-critical loads, after 1 minute of battery back-up or on low battery alarm • scheduled for timed shut-down (software programmable) • high level reliability of the batteries (automatic battery test) • high level reliability of the UPS (full microprocessor control) • low impact on the mains supply (sinusoidal absorption). ADVANCED COMMUNICATION • advanced, multi-platform communication for all operating systems and network environments: PowerShield² supervision and shut-down software included, with SNMP agent, for Windows 95, 98, 2000, Me, XP, NT 4.0, Novell, Linux, Mac Os X, Mac Os 9.x operating systems. The UPS is equipped with a cable for direct connection to the PC (Plug and Play) • RS232 serial port.
