Introduction & Warranty Thank you for your purchase of the Superdry Sport Digi Pedometer. The most advanced techniques were used during its manufacture, and it underwent stringent controls before it was released for sale. Your Superdry Sport Digi Pedometer is guaranteed against any defects in material or workmanship that may occur under normal use for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase. THE WARRANTY IS ONLY VALID WITH PROOF OF PURCHASE FROM YOUR AUTHORISED Superdry RETAILER. Under no circumstances will Superdry be liable for any incidental or consequential damages. The Warranty DOES NOT COVER: 1. Batteries, straps and watch glasses; 2. Damage or breakage caused from accident, maltreatment or mishandling; 3. Water penetration, except in watches marked as water resistant; 4. Tarnishing of case. WATCH CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Your Superdry Sport Digi Pedometer is carefully designed and produced. To fully utilize all the features, it is advisable to read this user manual carefully and use it in conformity with the notes mentioned below: 1. Battery. The battery should be replaced about every 18 months. Battery replacement requires the use of specialist tools, and should be carried out by an approved stockists or specialist repairer. IMPORTANT· Do not try to change the battery yourself as this invalidates your warranty. 2. Handling. Your Superdry Sport Digi Pedometer will not withstand extreme shocks or vibration. It is sensible to remove your watch before commencing rough work or situations where the watch could be damaged. Avoid exposing the Superdry Sport Digi Pedometer to extreme conditions for unreasonable amounts of time. Keep the Superdry Sport Digi Pedometer away from magnets or appliances which contain magnetic components such as speakers or motors as these items may ruin the sensors. 3 3. Water Resistance. Your Superdry Sport Digi Pedometer is 5 ATM water resistant. It is designed to withstand leisure type swimming, e.g. swimming baths, yacht­ing and taking a shower. It is NOT designed to withstand sports high board diving, scuba type diving etc. Do not operate button while the watch is in contact with the water. 4. Cleaning. Clean the Superdry Sport Digi Pedometer occasionally with a soft cloth. If your watch has been used in salt water it should be rinsed off in fresh water and carefully dried. Disposal of Electric and Electronic Equipment The consumer has a significant role to play in reducing the impact of waste electrical and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators on the environment, through re-using or recycling such articles. Some batteries and accumulators and some of the components used in electrical and electronic equipment may contain hazardous substances that can damage the environment and present a risk to human health if not properly disposed of. The crossed out wheelie-bin symbol on this product is to remind you that waste electrical or electronic products, batteries and accumulators should not be disposed of with household waste. If you are unable to re-use or recycle your article it should be disposed of at a civic amenity site/local authority recycling facilities. DO NOT expose the Superdry Sport Digi Pedometer to strong chemicals such as fuel and alcohol as they will cause damage. DO NOT dispose of the Superdry Sport Digi Pedometer into fire as the battery inside the main unit may explode. WARNING! Watch Features - 11 digits LCD screen displays hour, minute, second, day of the week and week. - 12-hour / 24-hour time format. - Full automatic calender from 2000 to 2099 (year). - Two groups of alarm and hourly time signal. - G-Sensor pedometer. - 50-day automatically record data (including date, calorie, activity time, distance). - Stopwatch (1/100 second stopwatch and split time). - Countdown timer. - Button tone. - EL backlight (This button has no button tone function). Light Up Mode Down 3. Function Modes The Superdry Sports Digi Pedometer has 3 main function modes; pedometer mode, timekeeping mode and memory mode. To cycle through each of these press the MODE button. The home display of each mode is shown below: MEMO STEPS Press MODE Timekeeping Mode Press MODE STEPS Memory Mode Pedometer Mode NOTE: You must be in pedometer mode to track activity continuously. Steps will not be recorded if you leave this mode. To remain in Pedometer mode, use the lock function by holding the UP button until ( use. Each mode has been tailored to cater for specific aspects of your fitness programme. Pedometer - Track daily activity in 3 categories; steps taken, activity time, and distance travelled. Timekeeping - Time/Date with 2 alarm groups, 1/100 stopwatch with split time, and countdown timer. Memory - Keeps a 50 day record of data collected (date, calorie, mileage & steps). 5 4. Pedometer Mode NOTE: You must be in pedometer mode to track activity continuously. Steps will not be recorded if you leave this mode. To remain in Pedometer mode, use the lock function by holding the UP button until ( ) appears. Battery life can be reduced with regular use. To exit lock function, hold the UP button until ( ) disappears. Displays In the pedometer mode the watch uses G-Sensor technology to track and record your daily activities. You must be in this mode to activate the G-Sensor and track activity. Within this mode you will be able to cycle through 3 different displays using the UP button - Step/Time, Step/Activity Time, Calorie/Mileage. These displays are shown below: STEPS KCAL STEPS Press UP Step / Time Press UP KM Step / Activity Time Calorie / Mileage User Profile To more accurately measure your step count, calorie burn and distance travelled you can set up an individual user profile. This will tailor the watch to you and your needs. - In pedometer mode, hold MODE button until KG/LB indicator starts to flash. - Press UP or DOWN button to adjust the flashing value. - Press MODE button to cycle through settings, as below diagram. Stride Length (in) Sensitivity High Metric/Imperial - Default is metric. Press UP or DOWN to switch between metric & imperial. Weight - Default weight is 60kg (132lb). Adjustable range is 20-200kg / 66-440lb. Stride Length - Default stride length is 70cm (28in). Adjustable range is 30-150cm / 12-59in. Sensitivity of G-Sensor - Default MIDDLE. Recommendation: LOW - Jogging / HI - Fast running. 6 Accuracy - The most accurate counting state for the step counter is between 100-150 steps/min. If too fast or too slow accuracy will decline - so ensure to change the sensitivity to HIGH, LOW or MIDDLE when necessary. - The pedometer does not count non-standard steps as it simulates the usual motion when you walk or run. You should wear the watch before you begin walking or running. If not, the data may not record correctly. 5. Timekeeping Mode Functions In the timekeeping mode you have 5 different functions to cycle between. Press UP button to cycle between each function. Year Alarms Set an alarm and upon reaching the time the alarm icon will flash and alarm tone sounds with ‘BiBi’ for one minute. Press any button to stop after it starts to sound. Turning ON / OFF Alarm - In timekeeping mode, press UP button to switch to alarm mode. - Press DOWN button to turn ON / OFF alarm. After entering alarm state, alarm will automatically turn on. - When alarm is turned on, alarm icon will appear in all modes. ( ON ) Press DOWN Setting an Alarm On Off - Hold MODE button on alarm screen to enter alarm setting mode. - Press UP or DOWN button to adjust value. - Hold UP or DOWN button to adjust value quickly. - Press MODE to switch between settings. NOTE: The flashing unit is the one which will change - shown below in GREEN. Press MODE Set Hour Set Minute 8 Stopwatch - From the time/date screen press UP 3x to get to stopwatch screen. - Press DOWN to turn on/pause stopwatch. - When paused, press LIGHT to clear the data. - While stopwatch is counting, press LIGHT to turn on split time. SPL indicator shows and stopwatch continues to count. Initial Value Press LIGHT to return to stopwatch Press LIGHT to show split Press DOWN to start/pause stopwatch - Press LIGHT once more to release from split time (SPL) and return to stopwatch. Stopwatch SPL Display Stopwatch Pause Stopwatch Press LIGHT to clear Press DOWN to pause stopwatch Press LIGHT to clear Press DOWN to pause stopwatch Clear 9 Pause Stopwatch Countdown Timer - From the time/date screen press UP 4x to get to countdown timer screen. - Hold MODE button to enter countdown time setting screen. - Press UP or DOWN button to adjust the value. - Hold UP or DOWN button to adjust the value quickly. - Press MODE to switch between hour and minute settings. - Press DOWN to start / pause counting down. - When paused, press LIGHT to return the display to countdown setting value. - When countdown timer is on, countdown icon ( ) will flash to display in all modes. - When countdown is complete screen displays 00:00.00. Countdown tone sounds with ‘BiBi’ for one minute. - Press any button to stop sound after it starts. NOTE: Countdown time will automatically clear after entering countdown time setting screen. Press DOWN to start timer Timer Starts Counting 6. Memory Mode - The memory mode keeps a 50 day record of data recorded. The date is displayed at the top of the screen and the data cycles between steps, calories and mileage every one second. - Press mode to cycle through the main displays to get to memory mode. - Press UP or DOWN to view previous daily exercise records upward or downward. - To clear data, hold LIGHT till ‘ERASE’ flashes on screen. - Once ‘ERASE’ is shown, press LIGHT to clear data. - The watch will automatically exit from memory mode if no button is pressed for 30 seconds. Lock Function Cleared Memory When you are in pedometer, timekeeping or memory mode, you can lock within this mode. This can be very helpful should you want to stay on a mode for an elongated period of time; in particular the pedometer mode. This will ensure you can keep recording data at all times. - In any mode hold UP button to lock display. - Screen will display lock icon ( ) - Hold UP button again to unlock the display. 11 8. Alarm tone sounds 30 seconds per day. Pedometer is used for an hour per day. 12
