QUICK START GUIDE DigiLink DLC450 - HD-SDI Video-Over-IP Gateway Module Settings Configuration 1 2 1 Operational Mode Set to either TX or RX depending on mode required 2 IP Address of Module IP address that Module uses to respond to Pings 3 Video Alarm ENABLE ALARM on loss of active video 4 SFP Alarm ENABLE ALARM on SFP not present Receiver Settings Configuration 3 1 Source IP IP address that Module uses in unicast mode to receive from 2 Multicast Group Multicast IP Address that Module uses when in Multicast Mode 3 Port Port number setting must match the Port number setting on the TX module that you wish to receive video data from 4 Recovery Buffer Specifies Data Latency Time from Ethernet in to SDI TX out. Sm setting: latency is 100ms, Lg setting: delay is 120ms 4 Transmitter Settings Configuration Sets which input port for HD SDI video to In BNC 1 Video Source 1 or available backplane inputs 2 3 4 2 Destination IP Address Destination Address which module is transmitting to 3 Port Port number setting must match the Port number setting on the RX module that you wish to transmit the video data to 4 Time to Live Not applicable at this time FEC Mode Specifies Forward Error Correction (FEC) settings • Specify Column or Row/Column or No FEC • Specify FEC matrix (row and column) size (maximum 3000) 5 1 2 3 4 5 DLC450 Front Panel: • Mon HD-BNC - In TX mode, this BNC outputs a copy of the HD SDI signal received on the BNC in connecter. In RX mode , this BNC outputs a copy of the HD SDI signal sent out the BNC out. • RST Pushbutton - Pressing, holding in for more than 4 seconds and then releasing this button will reset the module. Reset is similar to power-up sequence of module. No user configuration data is changed during this reset. • Select Pushbutton - Not used, for future use.
