Long Breals, Small Cost. Of course students, employers and workers need breaks. Theben digital timers control the signals that mark the start and end of breaks - reliably and to the second. They are quick and easy to set up via text guidance on the timer, OBELISK top2 memory card, or with complex programs that can be used from the comfort of your desk via drag and drop OBELISK top2 software.

QUICK SETTING Thanks to Theben's ingenious copier function, weekly program settings are even easier to set. Additional days of the week with the same switching times can be copied using the OK button.
EXACT CONTROL Time signals and cycle switching times (PULSE/PAUSE) can be quickly and easily programmed at the required time.
DUAL PROGRAMMING With the memory card inserted, an alternative stored program can be carried out. When the card is removed, the program stored in the time switches carries on seamlessly.
EXTERNAL CONTROL INPUT One switch or several buttons per channel can be connected to the external control input. The permanent ON, permanent OFF, switching pre-selection, sequence timer (egg timer function) and channel enabling (activation of timer) functions are available.
DCF77-/GPS RADIO CONTROL Extremely accurate timing through automatic time synchronisation with the DCF 77 time signal transmitter in Mainflingen near Frankfurt or time synchronisation with the GPS-Signal (DCF and/or GPS antenna optional)
CAN BE CONFIGURED FOR SINGLE OR DOUBLE USE Two wires can be connected per terminal. Each of the wires is secured by its own spring clamp.

Time to rinse. In restaurants, bars and clubs the regular and correct rinsing of urinals is a hygienic necessity. Here the TR 611 top2 time switch offers a water saving and costefficient solution. The rinsing cycles can be adapted to the prevailing circumstances – visitor frequency, opening hours, days of the week– and the precise, to the second, programming controls water consumption.

COPYING FROM TIME SWITCH TO TIMER Ideal if several timers with the same program are installed, e. g. for street lighting, shopping chains, public buildings etc.
CHANGING SWITCHING TIMES By clicking the times, ± fields then appear for editing or overwriting switching times. Day of the week blocks can be changed by clicking on the ticks.
DOCUMENTATION Printing and storing on a hard drive for straightforward program changes on PC.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW It shows at a glance what the week's switching program looks like. Subsequent changes and to the minute time changes can be made at any time.
ON BUTTON Click on the program button again for the desired day of the week and pull across to the approximate time and pull down; this programs additional days for the same switching time. The program line now appears at the bottom.

Annual and Astronomical Programs: If the switching channel is operated with an astronomical program, then the digital time switch calculates the sunrise and sunset times for each day of the year. As these vary according to location and time zone, the location coordinates, consisting of longitude and latitude, time zone and the current date, are required to perform the calculation. The lighting connected to the timer is switched on to the minute in the evening and off again in the morning, based on the calculated times.

The simple annual program can be upgraded and optimised with diverse additional functions. Holiday and bank holiday programmes as well as break signals or various programmes for lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning are viable for every season. ASTRO FUNCTION The astronomical program, in addition to the time switch program, switches to sunrise and sunset times depending on the season and location. Offset for taking into account remaining light after sunset or mountain shadows. Easy set-up using city databases with stored coordinates.
Zero cross switching
LAN LAN module enables direct remote access via LAN network or the internet on the time switch. Furthermore, remote reading of the switching program and remote programming is possible. COPY The same program can be saved on several clocks in a flash with an insert able memory card, even without software. The annual clock program is copied on the inserted memory card and can then be copied onto as many clocks as needed and also used as a back-up copy of the program.
EXTENSION Extension devices can be connected to the data bus. 4 channel upgrade module EM 4 top2 enables upgrading to 5, 6 and/or 8 channels.
DUAL PROGRAMMING In schools and gyms, e.g. occupancy changes often occur. No problem - an adjusted program on the memory card can be inserted in the time switch. If the old program is needed once more, then just remove the memory card.

SIMULATION IN DISPLAY Simulation takes into account priority levels, bank holidays and holiday times of individual programmes and displays the switch times on all channels.

OBELISK top2 programming set for TR top2, LUNA top2 and SELEKTA top2. Suitable for PC operating systems Windows/XP, VISTA and WINDOWS 7. Connection via USB interface. Delivery includes OBELISK CD, programming adapter, USB cable and OBELISK memory card.
SOFTWARE OBELISK top2, intuitively operable Software for 19 different Theben devices, from a twilight switch to an astronomical switch as well as weekly and annual time switches. That means no rethinking, because the programming principle is the same for all devices that naturally saves time and money.
OFFSET AND ASTRO-IMPULSE The offset function enables individual adjustment of astronomical times up to +- 120 min. This correction factor enables adjustment for e.g. valleys where the sun sets earlier. Energy can be saved by turning lighting on later and off earlier. The power-on time can be individually determined with the Astro-Impulse.
PROGRAM Annual clock with basic weekly program and 14 different weekly programs with priority levels and date ranges. In addition to switching times, impulse and cyclical switching times are programmable as well.
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS Public holidays do not have to be programmed individually, because legal public holidays have already been sorted by country and state in OBELISK top2 database. Annual reprogramming of public holidays is no longer necessary, because public holidays are automatically updated to the correct date for the following year.
ASTRO PROGRAMM Many functions within a building need to be controlled depending upon sunrise and sunset times. Since this occurs at different times depending on the season, an astronomical program is required. It takes the geographical location in the calculation into account as well, so that the clock switches directly to sunrise and sunset times. Location input is simple via the city database or naturally by entering the longitude and latitude.
OPERATING HOURS Even operating hour monitoring of each channel and maintenance interval displayed for the user is already integrated into the time switch. A signal is sent via a common switch channel of when maintenance is required. Manual switching by the user via external buttons/ switches is possible at any time and is included in the operating hours.
OBELISK top2
Programming
SIMULATION ON THE PC Simulation takes into account priority levels, bank holidays, astronomical times and holiday times of individual programmes and displays the switch times on all channels. Every short impulse can be checked via the scroll and zoom function. REMOTE MAINTENANCE The customer can change the program with the LAN interface module from their desk - this saves driving expenses and allows for fast service. Users can also use remote software operation via the network or the internet. PROJECT DOCUMENTATION Every project can be saved on the PC with customer address, number, etc as well as users, who are connected to individual channels. This makes calculation and later program changes easier. The OBELISK top2 program enables smooth program documentation for the customer on paper with just a push of a button. Even data export is possible e.g. via EXCEL.

Please pre-heat! In many industrial production plants pre-heating phases are an absolute necessity, e. g. with packaging or injection moulding machines in electronics production. Time switches accurately and reliably ensure that the plants are pre-heated before production starts and that the production process can proceed without delays.
Narrow and compact – the tried and tested time switch all-rounder for every application. With SYN, SUL or MEM you can control time, regardless of what has to be controlled, aquarium light, circulation pump or illuminated advertising.
STRAIGHTFORWARD SEGMENT PROGRAMMING The 15 minute segments provide fast and accurate setting of the desired time program.
SOLID TERMINALS DESPITE THE MOST NARROW OF DESIGNS They ensure the secure connection of the consumer by wire or strand even if 2 wires have to attached per terminal.

This is proved to be beneficial in terms of health, concentration and well being, but without wasting energy.
The SYN and SUL time switches from Theben have been proven a million times over and have still been improved. Precisely programmable, faster to connect and this is all "Made in Germany".
24 HR. – LINE DESCRIPTIONS Lettering on the clock face ensures that the day and night programmes are not accidentally mixed up. It is very clear when setting, when e.g. 3:00am or 3:00pm is displayed next to the hand. 15 MINUTE SEGMENTS For precise time programmes with precise 15 minute settings. 96 folding segments can be programmed in just seconds.

DIN-rail, 1 module
DuoFix spring terminals 2 wires can be connected per terminal. Each of the wires is secured by its own spring. 40% time saved Connection is even faster thanks to DuoFix spring terminals. It is instantly wired regardless of 0.5mm2, 1.5mm2 or 2.5 mm2 wire or cable. Thanks to the integrated button, the plug-in connection to the phase tester can be easily released.
PERMANENT SWITCH: ON/TIMED/OFF Manually connected consumers can be switched permanently ON or permanent OFF at any time, e.g. with pond pumps, Christmas lighting etc. SWITCHING STATUS DISPLAY AND SWITCHING PRE-SELECTION If you leave home early or come back home early – that's not a problem: One turn of the pre-selection switch and the unit is turned on or off early on time only.

TIME
At the heart of the system. Circulation pumps ensure an immediate supply of hot water from in all the water outlets in the building. Easy to use but costintensive. Energy expenditure can be significantly reduced by using timers: Programmed for the periods of highest demand, the pump only switches on, for example, in the morning and evening – an environmentally-friendly and economic solution.
Switchable for daily or weekly programs. Ideal mounted timer for rental properties, e. g. with weekly program for pump control for single people or employed couples, night switch off for families with children who are at home during the day.
SWITCHING THE TIME SWITCH It is very easy to switch the time switch from daily to weekly program by lifting the graduated ring. The graduated ring printed on both sides is reset here with weekly sections. The pins can now be inserted for the weekly program for the days of the week from 1– 7. SWITCHING DISPLAY AND SWITCHING PRE-SELECTION If you leave home early or come back home early – that's not a problem: One turn of the pre-selection switch and heating or lighting will switch ON or OFF early on time only.

FRONT PANEL INSTALLATION The device can be installed in a cut-out of 69 x 69 mm and for walls up to 19 mm thick. Connection either by terminal screws or 2.8 mm flat pins. SEMI-AUTOMATIC Thanks to flexible use of the tappet, semiautomatic function is possible, when e.g. it is switched on manually and then the OFF pins are used in the evening.
PERMANENT ON/OFF Manually connected consumers can be switched permanently ON or OFF at any time, e. g. in the case of fountains, Christmas lighting etc. The existing or manually set relay status can be easily fixed by releasing the switching lever.

Antenna top2 RC-GPS
Worldwide time synchronisation and positioning via receiving GPS satellite signal. The antenna is connected by a 2 wire cable (max. 100 m) to Theben top2 RC devices (up to 10 devices can be connected). A top2 GPS power unit (item number 9070892) is also required when connecting to TR 611 op2 RC, LUNA 121 top2 RC, LUNA 122 top2 RC or SELEKTA 171 top2 RC devices. No additional power un it is required when connecting to TR 641 top2 RC, TR 642 top2 RC, TR 644 top2 RC devices or several devices to one antenna. Positioning is possible with TR 641 top2 RC, TR 642 top2 RC, TR 644 top2 RC and SELEKTA 171 top2 RC devices.
