AES-6081
• Two AES digital audio channels on one module • One input, four outputs per channel • 75/110 Ohm operation • BO/S interface • Optional analog audio monitoring output The Genesis AES-6081 eurocard module is a Single/Dual Channel AES audio distribution amplifier. The module is fully configurable and as such there are links on each channel such that the card can be changed from a dual channel distribution amplifier each with 4 outputs to a single channel with 8 outputs.
Fan out versions of the card are available (AES-6081, AES-6081C). On the front of the AES-6081 card is a 3.5mm stereo jack allowing the user to directly monitor each stereo signal via headphones without having to go to a jack field.

Mounting Frames The AES-6081 module is part of the Genesis modular range of interface products and can be mounted in the 1RU frame (FR-6001-B, FR-6001-C and FR-6001-G), 2RU (FR-6002), or the 4RU frame (FR-6004). For balanced AES operation, use the A6/4U rear connector. For unbalanced AES operation use the V6/4U, V10/4U, V12/4U, V13/4U and V14/4U rear connectors.

Serial Diagnostics Port The card has a serial diagnostics port that allows it to report to Leitch’s BO/S Pilot application. BO/S allows access to error status, set-up information and control of the module via a serial link to a remote PC. When used with the A10 rear connector, the card has two GPI outputs, one for each channel to report loss of input.
