DIGITAL CLOCK RADIO 0.6” LED DISPLAY USER MANUAL Thank you for purchasing a Buddee Digital Clock Radio. For optimum performance and safety, read these instructions carefully before connecting, operating or adjusting this product. Refer to this manual for future reference. DEVICE FUNCTIONS Turn unit ON/OFF, switch between AM/FM modes Set radio to turn off after 90/80/70/60/50/40/30/20/10 minutes. Press to select time. Once set, press to cancel. INTRODUCTION This compact AM/FM radio fits easily on your bedside table and allows you to wake up how and when you like. With dual alarms, AM/FM radio, sleep and snooze functions, and up to 20 radio presets, you have everything you need to get going in the morning. Snooze alarm. Alarm will start again after 9 minutes. Hold ON/OFF to turn off. SETTING THE TIME 1. In standby mode, hold the SET button until the display flashes. Set the time with the HR and MIN buttons. 2. When the time is correct, press SET to confirm. Note: In time setting mode, if no button is pressed for 4 seconds the current time setting will be confirmed. POWER SUPPLY Requires 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries for back up (not included). For optimal performance, alkaline batteries are recommended. Batteries must be replaced every 6 months. 1. Insert power cord plug into a standard wall outlet. 2. Install batteries in battery compartment. Ensure the AAA batteries are installed with the correct polarity (- to -, + to +). Batteries should be replaced when the volume decreases or sound is distorted. CAUTION: Incorrect battery installation can result in explosion. Only replace with the correct battery type (AAA). LISTENING TO THE RADIO SELECTING FREQUENCY When the unit is ON, press the ON/OFF button to turn on the radio and switch between AM and FM. Manual search: 1. Adjust the volume using the V+ and V- buttons. 2. Set radio frequency using the T+ and T- buttons. Automatic search: Press and hold T+ or T- to automatically search radio stations with strong signals. TO ENHANCE RADIO RECEPTION FM: Extend the antenna AM: Rotate the unit horizontally for optimum reception If reception is still weak, try moving the radio to another location. RADIO PRESETS This unit can store up to 10 FM and 10 AM station presets. Set presets: 1. Select a radio station. 2. Press and hold the M+ button until “P 01” is displayed. 3. Press M+ again to save the preset. 4. Repeat steps 1-3 to store more presets. CAUTION No not open attempt to open the unit yourself, this could result in electrical shock. If the radio requires servicing, please refer to your place of purchase. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION Do not expose the unit to extreme hot or cold temperatures. Ensure that there is a minimum of 5 cm clear around the unit for sufficient ventilation. Ensure that the ventilation openings are not obstructed. DO NOT place sources of naked flame e.g. lit candles, on the unit. DO NOT expose the unit to water. DO NOT place objects filled with water e.g. glasses or vases, on the unit. DO NOT dispose of the batteries in fire. Ensure that you follow the correct regulations for battery disposal. DO NOT expose the batteries to excessive heat e.g. sunlight, fire or other heat sources. The power plug is use to disconnect the unit from power and should be easily accessible. To be completely disconnected from power, the plug should be disconnected completely. Listen to presets: Press the M+ button. “P 01” will be displayed on screen. Repeatedly press M+ to select the desired preset. Under the influence of fast transient and/or electrostatic electric phenomenon the unit may malfunction and must be reset by turning off and on again. SETTING THE ALARM AND ALARM MODE 1. In standby mode, press AL 1 to set alarm mode (buzzer or radio). The corresponding indicator will light up and the display will blink. DISPOSAL Electrical goods should not be disposed of with household waste. Check local regulations for disposal of electrical goods and to find your nearest recycling facility. 3. Press AL 1 to save. Set the desired time using the HR and MIN buttons. Repeat steps 1 - 3 using the AL 2 button for alarm 2. STOPPING THE ALARM SNOOZE Press SNOOZE. The alarm will snooze for 9 minutes. STOP ALARM Press OFF or AL 1/2. The alarm will turn off and sound again at the same time the next day. CANCEL ALARM In standby mode, repeatedly press AL 1/2 to cancel the alarm permanently. The alarm indicator light will turn off.
