It allows you to copy your digital memory cards to CD without the use of a computer anytime, anywhere. The Digital Photo Copy Cruiser also works as a portable DVD Movie Player and Portable Photo Viewer when connected to a TV, a portable MP3 CD Player when connecting to your home entertainment center, headphones or speakers, an external USB 2.0 CD-Recorder/DVD-ROM drive, or as an external USB 2.0 8-in-1 card reader. How is the Digital Photo Copy Cruiser Plus different from the Digital Photo Copy Cruiser (Aleratec Part #310101)? The Digital Photo Copy Cruiser Plus incorporates the majority of requests that we have received from the users of the Digital Photo Copy Cruiser. It is truly portable with the included rechargeable Li-Ion battery. It is not only a device that allows you to copy your digital memory cards to CD without a computer, but it is also a multimedia player as well. The Digital Photo Copy Cruiser Plus includes both Video and Audio Out connections so that you can connect to any TV, Home Theater System and or/Headphones for viewing and/or listening to your Pictures, DVD Movies, Audio CDs, or MP3 CDs whether you are at home, in the office or traveling. The included software suite is also enhanced with the inclusion of NTI Dragon Burn for Macintosh and CyberLink PowerDVD! for Windows. Each time I copy a different memory card do I need to use a new CD? No. The Digital Photo Copy Cruiser Plus copies memory cards using Multisession. This means that you can copy multiple memory cards to the same CD-R and CD-RW disc until it is full.

Do I have to worry about duplicate file names when copying multiple flash memory cards to the same CD? No need to worry. A separate folder is created on the CD each time you press copy. Each folder ends in 0X. X is the number of the transfer, i.e. 01, 02, 03… How is the Digital Photo Copy Cruiser Plus powered? Digital Photo Copy Cruiser Plus is powered by an internal integrated rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack. Also included is an A/C power adapter with input voltages of 100~240V, 50~60Hz. An optional Mobile Cable Kit (Alera Technologies Part #240122) is available for use in your car, boat or plane. What is the Mobile Cable Kit and Do I need it? The Mobile Cable Kit provides an additional source of power for the Digital Photo Copy Cruiser. It plugs into your 12V cigarette lighter in your vehicle. Using the Mobile Cable Kit along with your Digital Photo Copy Cruiser Plus will allow you to copy your digital photos to CD while in your car, boat, or plane.

It is compatible with Compact Flash (CF) Type I and Type II, Secure Digital (SD), Smart Media (SM), Multimedia Card (MM), Memory Stick (MS), Memory Stick Pro (MS Pro), Micro Drive (MD), and xD Picture Cards (with an optional CF adapter) I have a 1GB Compact Flash card in my Camera. Can I use Digital Photo Copy Cruiser Plus on both my Windows Computer and my Mac computer? Yes. Digital Photo Copy Cruiser Plus includes Nero Express for Windows 98SE/ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP, and NTI Dragon Burn! for Mac OSX to allow you to use it as an external USB 2.0 CD-Recorder. USB 2.0 drivers are included for Windows 98SE and Mac OSX to use the 8-in-1 Card Reader/Writer. What kind of optical media do you recommend for use with Digital Photo Copy Cruiser Plus? Digital Photo Copy Cruiser Plus will write to and read CD-R and CD-RW media. You can also read from DVD±R/RW making the Digital Photo Copy Cruiser Plus a portable DVD and MP3 player as well.
