Move this sliding switch to the different positions to set the clock, alarm, or display the time. al set – Slide the Clock Switch to this position to set the alarm clock by pressing the Hour and Minute button on the side of the picture viewer. time set - Slide the Clock Switch to this position to set the time by pressing the Hour and Minute button on the side of the picture viewer. time - Slide the Clock Switch to this position to display the set time and run normally. Note: The Clock Switch must be set to the “time” position to operate normally. Move this sliding switch to the different positions to disable the alarm or to operate the alarm in two different modes. al off – Slide the Alarm Switch to this position to disable the alarm. snooze - Slide the Alarm Switch to this position to enable the alarm in “snooze” mode. In this mode, the alarm will go off 4 minutes after the snooze button on the clock has been pressed. alarm on - Slide the Alarm Switch to this position to enable the alarm. The alarm will only go off once. Press this button to open the setup menu. This button also functions as “Enter” when selecting different menu options. Press this button to scroll through menus. Press to silence the alarm and to turn on the clock’s backlight. Press to increase the hour when setting the clock or alarm. Press to increase the minute field when setting the clock or alarm. 5
PRIOR TO INSTALLATION For Windows® 2000, XP, Vista To avoid any hardware conflict and/or error, please visit www.windowsupdate.com and install the most recent updates for your operating system. Please also visit your motherboard manufacturer’s website and install the most recent updates available for your video and sound card. For Windows® 2000 Windows® 2000 users are recommended to have Service Pack 4 installed. You can determine if you have Service Pack 4 by right-clicking “My Computer”, and then selecting “Properties”. Select the “General” tab and the Service Pack you have will be listed under “System”. If Service Pack 4 is not listed, please visit www.windowsupdate.com and install it.
For Windows® XP Windows® XP users are recommended to have Service Pack 2. You can determine if you have Service Pack 2 by right-clicking “My Computer”, and then selecting “Properties”. The Service Pack you have will be listed under “System”. If Service Pack 2 is not listed, please visit www.windowsupdate.com and install it.

INSTALLATION: NOTE: Please be sure that you close all the applications on your computer before you begin the installation. Please charge your Digital Picture Viewer by connecting the enclosed USB cable to your computer following the instructions below for a minimum of 4 hours prior to first use. Each full charge will last for 2 hours of viewing time. The actual charging time varies depending on the level of discharge. The life cycle of the internal rechargeable battery is 400 charges. 1. Turn on your computer. 2. Insert the enclosed Driver/Software CD into the CD-ROM drive of your computer. 3. The Photo Viewer 3.03f Setup Wizard will appear automatically; follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
4. When the following dialog box appear for the last step, please click “Exit” to finish the installation.
5. Plug the USB mini-B connector of the enclosed USB cable to your digital picture viewer.

6. Connect the USB Type-A connector to an available USB port of your computer. Your picture viewer will detect the connection and prompt you whether to charge the picture viewer or to connect it to the computer for data transfer. Select “USB Update”.
7. Your computer will automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. 8. Your new Digital Picture Viewer is now ready to be used. 9. Go to “Start”, then select “All Programs”, then “Photo Viewer 3.03fs”, and then select “Photo Viewer 3.03fs” to start the program.
CHARGING THE PICTURE VIEWER 1. Plug the USB mini-B connector of the enclosed USB cable to your Digital Picture Viewer. 2. Connect the USB Type-A connector to an available USB port on your computer. Your picture viewer will detect the connection and prompt you whether to charge the picture viewer or to connect to the computer for data transfer. Select “USB Charge”.
3. You picture viewer will charge automatically. Note: Each full charge will allow approximately 2 hours of picture viewing time. It is recommended to charge the picture viewer for a minimum of 4 hours prior to first use. When the battery is nearly full at each charge cycle, your picture viewer will use a very low charging current to charge the battery for a better battery life. Your picture viewer might continue to show that it is being charged for a very long time. It is considered a full charge after every 4 hours of charging time.

USING THE SOFTWARE 1. Plug the USB mini-B connector of the enclosed USB cable to your Digital Picture Viewer. 2. Connect the USB Type-A connector to an available USB port of your computer. Your picture viewer will detect the connection and prompt you whether to charge the picture viewer or to connect it to the computer for data transfer. Select “USB Update”.
3. Your computer will automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. 4. Your new digital picture viewer is now ready to be used. 5. Go to “Start”, then select “All Programs”, then “Photo Viewer 3.03fs”, and then select “Photo Viewer 3.03fs” to start the program. 6. The software will detect your picture viewer and the following screen will appear on your screen. Please read the following table which shows you how to upload pictures to your picture viewer.

Locate the picture that you would like to upload to your picture viewer.

The picture you have selected will be previewed in this window. The dotted square box indicates the area of your picture that will be uploaded to your picture viewer.

Use these buttons to select a different area of your picture to be uploaded to your picture viewer or to rotate your picture clockwise or counter-clockwise. 9

Click “Post” to place your picture in the preview box on the right hand side of the screen. Repeat the above steps for other pictures.

Preview the pictures that will be uploaded to your picture viewer.

Press the “Sync” Button to start uploading pictures to your picture viewer.

These 4 buttons are for saving and deleting pictures that have already been uploaded to the picture viewer. The two rotate buttons are only for rotating pictures that you would like to save a copy to your computer. All editing done using these two rotate buttons will not take affect on the pictures in the preview window.
USING THE PICTURE VIEWER 1. To start viewing pictures on the picture viewer, press the Menu/Enter Button on the side of the picture viewer for 2 seconds. Your picture viewer will turn on automatically and pictures will be displayed on the screen. 2. Your picture viewer allows you to change your display mode between slide show or manual picture scroll. To change between these two options, press the Menu/Enter button while picture is being displayed on screen. Select “Photo Frame” by pressing and holding the Menu/Enter button for 2 seconds.
Select “Auto Scroll” for slide show mode or “Manual Scroll” for manual picture scrolling using the Scroll button. Press and hold the Menu/Enter button for 2 seconds to make the selection. 3. Your picture viewer also allows you to set the time for your picture viewer to display pictures before it enters Sleep Mode to conserve battery power. To set the Auto Sleep time, press the Menu/Enter button while the picture is being displayed on screen. Select “Auto Sleep” by pressing and holding the Menu/Enter button for 2 seconds.
Select between 30 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes or turning the Auto Sleep function off, using the Scroll button. Press and hold the Menu/Enter button for 2 seconds to make the selection. 10

Gear Head, LLC warrants that this product shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from date of purchase. If the product is defective, Gear Head, LLC’s sole obligation under this warranty shall be at its election, subject to the terms of this warranty, to repair or replace any parts deemed defective. This warranty is for the exclusive benefit of the original purchaser and is not assignable or transferable. THIS WARRANTY IS MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY, UNLESS OTHERWISE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Exclusions To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gear Head, LLC expressly disclaims and excludes from this warranty any liability for damages, including but not limited to general, special, indirect, incidental, consequential, aggravated, punitive or exemplary damages, and economic loss (even if Gear Head™ is informed of their possibility), third party claims against you, including for any loss or damages, and claims or damages related to loss of, or, damage to, your records or data. This warranty does not apply to any product the exterior of which has been damaged or defaced. This warranty will be voided by misuse, improper physical environment, improper repair, acts of God, war or terror, commercial use, and improper service, operation or handling. Please contact our technicians at 1-866-890-7115 Return Merchandise for Service Any claim under this warranty must be made in writing to Gear Head, LLC, at the address provide by our technician, within 30 days after the owner discovers the circumstances giving rise to any such claim, and must include a copy of this warranty document, a receipt or copy of your invoice marked with the date of purchase, and the original packaging. You may obtain service by calling the technician for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The RMA number must be prominently displayed on the outside of the shipping carton and the package must be mailed to Gear Head™ postage prepaid.
