DIGITAL RADIO MULTI SPYBALL SYSTEM The new digital radio multi Spyball system has been designed from the outset to take into account the feed monitoring requirements of modern fish farms operating in a hostile environment. Up to 99 separate underwater Spyball cameras can be remotely controlled at distances in excess of 800 metres with pictures from any four displayed simultaneously in the control room. The Multi Camera Control Unit communicates with all Remote Transceivers on site and any four selected by the operator will transmit video pictures together with Spyball Depth data back to the control room. Large bright LED displays clearly indicate which cages are selected and the proportional joystick can be used to control camera pan and tilt movement as required. Control of a cage mounted winch can be used to change the Spyball depth and a display on the panel shows Spyball Depth. The Remote Radio Transceiver at each cage has no external openings as control and video transmit antennas are both located within the housing and setup is carried out using a handheld wireless remote control. A wet mateable underwater connector at the base of the unit is for connection of the underwater cable to the Spyball camera and optionally connections can be provided for installation of a winch or second camera that can be used to monitor the surface of the cage. A bright LED display on the front of the unit shows the communication status and the preset cage number. When units are moved between cages the preset can easily be changed using the wireless handheld remote keypad (yes - it floats!)
