Digital/Strategic Enterprise Architect Vestas Global IT is responsible for designing, building and maintaining IT solutions and services in Vestas Wind Systems A/S. The focus in this position is on IT but will also get insight into the Wind Turbine industry. The Digital/Strategic Enterprise Architect will be responsible for direction of Vestas’ Technology platform. The Digital/Strategic Enterprise Architect will be responsible to integrate information from Vestas’ corporate strategies and plans to develop the overall strategic direction for Vestas’ across domains; and be responsible for the health and effectiveness of key architecture processes. The Digital/Strategic Enterprise Architect needs to formalize and owns the vision and oversee all aspects of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) Community including services and capabilities at Vestas. The Digital/Strategic Enterprise Architect will engage key Vestas business and IT leadership for the purpose of setting strategic direction of the EA Community and communicate the roadmap for Architecture services and capabilities, support Business and IT strategy by providing architectural and strategic consulting in the areas of Architectural principles, best practices and ensure adherence to standards etc. This position requires an innovative, big-picture-thinking who interface with all disciplines within Vestas Global IT to ensure all services and capabilities meet business and technical needs across Vestas and remain highly available within the EA Community. Responsibilities: In your role as a Digital/Strategic Enterprise Architect you will help Vestas grow our business and build on our success by: Leading the Enterprise Architecture Strategy and Governance     Leading the development and implementation of Enterprise Architecture strategy, vision and guiding principles across the global IT organization Identifying the good architecture practices/standards and drive their adoption Be the face and champion for Enterprise Architecture across Vestas Interact and spar with Vestas Executive Board in regards to vision, transformation and product development etc. Partnering across IT Teams to develop Enterprise Architecture Roadmaps     Analyze the current technical architecture sets to identify opportunities for improvements and standardization, including: Improved integration efficiency and information sharing Flexible, agile, and scalable global platforms Lead the architecture design of priority programs/initiatives that span multi-function, regional and vendor solutions Ensuring Ongoing Enterprise Architecture Compatibility     Ensure compatibility with existing architecture: solutions, infrastructure, services, and business requirements Represents the retained organization for enterprise level frameworks, principles and methodologies, enabling Global IT and Vestas to work efficiently and integrated perspectives on business models, customer offerings, business process, IT Offerings, Offering parts and underlying platforms and Foundation Towers. Provide direction and when necessary, propose/approve variances to the enterprise standard architecture to accommodate project needs Maintain integrity of the EA standards by ensuring that development and support procedures follow the design principles Qualifications & Work Experience          5-10 years information technology experience in a large scale commercial enterprise. 5 years of experience as a practicing enterprise architect Ability to conduct fact-based evaluations of architecture alternatives, mediate opposing viewpoints and negotiate equitable outcomes that ensure stable solutions Master degree in IT, Business Administration or similar Cross cultural understanding Developing capability models and other business architecture deliverables – highly desired User experience focused design – highly desired Development of enterprise and departmental strategic plans – desired Presenting to audiences in both Business and Technology communities Competencies:         A team player and high performing individual Strong commercial skills Able to communicate precise and clear in order to also work with remote teams Stakeholder management and ability to build strong relationship Goal-oriented – but without losing attention to the right details Structured and action-oriented and delivers within deadlines Navigating based on solid business analysis and fact-based insights Good English skills - verbal and written What we offer: You will be a key resource in developing a high-performing and high-paced team in a global environment.
