db Bus Access Control The db Bus products are meant to secure a multiple cabinets arranged in rows. This configuration features are many and provide the options of a fingerprint reader or card reader at each cabinet door and a central controller. The db Bus also provides the option for users to authenticate at the end of a row of cabinets instead of each individual cabinet door. A sophisticated bus architecture distributes fail-safe control signals and electrical power to each door lock. A single control unit and single power supply are capable of securing up to 32 cabinets using only one IP address. db Bus pricing is configuration dependent and can range from as little as $400 per cabinet to $1050 per cabinet.
db Zero U Access Control The db Zero U was developed for installations of single/solitary cabinets. The Zero U version requires no rack space and comes with its own power supply. A control unit and IP address are needed for each cabinet. The db Zero U will support one or two db BioLocks per cabinet.
db Nexus Solutions – Networked Access Control db Nexus is the networked version of the Digitus access control line. In conjunction with DAS-SQL software, db Nexus can be controlled and managed from a single location, allowing centralized administration of up to thousands of units, anywhere in the world. When granting actual access, db Nexus units operate independently. No network communication is required for ID verification, and secure access control continues normally in the event of a network failure. db Nexus product features include dual authentication, indisputable audit trail, one-click lockdown of system, duress activation alert, anti-tamper security, forced/propped door detection, fire panel integration, restrict access times, and 16 hour battery backup. The platform is offered in two version, the db Nexus and db Nexus Duo. Both versions are available in Pin and fingerprint or with Pin, fingerprint and RFID reader. Like all Digitus products, the db Nexus solutions are managed via the DAS-SQL software platform. db Nexus Duo provides the ability to attach two head/reader units to a single control unit.
