Created with business users firmly in mind, these voice recorders deliver exceptional recording quality and boast numerous advanced functions and features while simplifying transcription. Each model in this series incorporates a highly sensitive low-noise, directional stereo microphone unit to faithfully capture sound. The 90-degree angled layout of the microphones facilitates real stereo recordings that also convey the original spatial ambience. Files are saved in either WMA or MP3 format – or even in 44.1kHz/16bit Linear PCM format (except WS-831) for CDquality results. For transcription needs, these devices make life easy: the Voice Playback function (WS-833 & WS-832) cleverly analyses recordings to eliminate the parts where nothing was said. One can therefore save valuable time while simultaneously enjoying the convenience of not having to search manually for sections with speech. Together with the clever Transcription Mode during playback, which adjusts recorder settings automatically for optimal transcription, overall efficiency is substantially improved. Users also benefit from the direct USB connection, which thanks to a built-in connector lets files be transferred at any time or place – or allows it to be used as a storage medium. Voice Playback cuts out all sections in recordings without voice so you don’t need to manually find the parts where something is said. Meanwhile, the improved Voice Balancer function can enhance playback, if necessary, by equalising the volume levels of voices in recordings.
