2. Removal of BOTTOM COVER Unit 1. Unscrew the 7 screws (A) as shown in figure 2-1 and remove the BOTTOM COVER Unit.

3. Removal of HANDLE TOP Unit NOTE: Set the HANDLE ZOOM SW to the position as shown in figure 3-1 (position as number 3), when you continue the assembly or disassembly after the HANDLE TOP unit is removed. (To prevent SW removing.)

Figure 7-1 < Note for assembly of SDI SHIELD > Slide the SDI SHIELD in the direction of an arrow (A) as shown in figure 7-1 and assemble to it. Put in a part (A) of cut and lacks portion of SDI SHIELD under MAIN SHIELD as shown in figure 7-1. Confirm that the GASKET is put on SDI SHIELD as shown in figure 7-1. 7. Disconnect the connector (A), (B) and (C) as shown in figure 7-2. 8. Disconnect a JUMPER PLUG as shown in figure 7-2.

Remove the BOTTOM COVER Unit. Remove the HANDLE TOP Unit. Remove the VF CASE L. Remove the SIDE CASE R S Unit. Remove the GRIP Unit. Remove the BACK CASE Unit. Remove the BOTTOM FARME. Unscrew a screw (A) and a screw (B) as shown in figure 9-1. Disconnect a connector combined with TOP P.C.B., and remove the SDCARD P.C.B. Unit in the direction of the arrow as shown in figure 9-1. < Note for assembly > 1. Assemble the SDCARD P.C.B.(with PB ANGLE and SD CARD ANGLE) after putting the SDCARD P.C.B.(with PB ANGLE and SD CARD ANGLE) into a Groove (A) as shown in figure 9-3 and putting the MAIN P.C.B. into a Groove (B) as shown in figure 9-3.

Remove the BOTTOM COVER Unit. Remove the GRIP Unit. Disconnect a connector (A) as shown in figure 10-1. Unscrew the 6 screws (A) as shown in figure 10-1 and remove the POWER SHIELD A . Disconnect a connector (B) combined with MAIN P.C.B., and remove the POWER P.C.B. as shown in figure 10-1. CONNECTOR (B)

< Note for assembly > When you tighten the screw (A) as shown in figure 10-1, please tighten the screw in order as shown in figure 10-2.

11. Removal of MAIN P.C.B. NOTE: The GYRO sensor (IC3) shown in figure 11-3 is installed to the MAIN P.C.B. Therefore be careful not to dropping a MAIN P.C.B. or not to give a shock to a GYRO sensor etc. (IC might be defective). 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.

12. Disconnect the connector (F) and (G) combined with TOP P.C.B., and remove the MAIN P.C.B. as shown in figure 11-3. CONNECTOR (F)

< Note for assembly > 1. The wires from FAN should pass through the hole (A) as shown in figure 11-4. 2. The flexible cable from camera lens unit should pass through the hole (B) as shown in figure 11-4.

5. Pull out the wires from camera lens unit (MOS wires) from the portion as shown in figure 11-6.
Figure 11-6 6. When you assemble the MAIN SHIELD, be careful not to break the connectors as shown in figure 11-7. 7. Match the cut and lacks portion of MAIN P.C.B as portion as shown in figure 11-7 and cut and lacks portion of MAIN SHILED.

13. Disconnect a connector (D) as shown in figure 12-3. 14. Unscrew the 5 screws (C) as shown in figure 12-3 and remove the TOP P.C.B.. TOP P.C.B.

Remove the SDCARD P.C.B.(with PB ANGLE and SD CARD ANGLE). Remove the POWER P.C.B.. Remove the MAIN P.C.B.. Remove the TOP CASE Unit (with EVF Unit)(without HANDLE TOP Unit). Disconnect a connector (A) as shown in figure 13-1. Remove the TAPE as shown in figure 13-1. Unscrew the 2 screws (A) as shown in figure 13-1 and remove the EVF Unit. The tape is stuck two sheets. Please remove one sheet from the portion shown by a dotted line.

2. Assemble the FAN MOTOR (with FAN DAMPER) to DUCT A as shown in figure 14-6. Pass wires from FAN is passed through the cut and lacks portion of DUCT A as shown in figure 14-6.
Figure 14-6 3. Assemble the DUCT A (with FAN MOTOR and FAN DAMPER) to portion (A) as shown in figure 14-7. Tighten the 4 screws (A) as shown in figure 14-2.

Figure 14-7 4. Pass wires from FAN is passed through the hole (A) as shown in figure 14-8. The FAN wires should be passed right side of portion (A) as shown in figure 14-8. 5. Make the MOS wires (green) there be along the groove as shown in figure 14-8, and be in the direction of an arrow. 6. Fix the 3 MOS wires with a tape as shown in figure 14-1. (A)

Remove the BOTTOM COVER Unit. Remove the HANDLE TOP Unit. Remove the VF CASE L. Remove the SIDE CASE R S Unit. Remove the GRIP Unit. Remove the BACK CASE Unit. Remove the BOTTOM FARME. Remove the SDCARD P.C.B.(with PB ANGLE and SD CARD ANGLE). Remove the POWER P.C.B.. Remove the MAIN P.C.B.. Remove the TOP CASE Unit (with EVF Unit) (without HANDLE TOP Unit). Remove the FAN MOTOR. Remove the CAMERA LENS Unit. Unsolder the solder two places as shown in figure 16-1. Unscrew the 2 screws (A) as shown in figure 16-1 and remove the ZOOM MOTOR Unit.

Remove the BOTTOM COVER Unit. Remove the HOADLE TOP Unit. Remove the SIDE CASE R S Unit. Unscrew the 2 screws (A) as shown in figure 17-1 and remove the LCD HINGE COVER.

7. Remove the LCD CABLE HOLD CUSHION as shown in figure 17-3 from BLIND COVER.

2. Open the LCD PANEL as shown in figure 17-6.
