This is a simple, economical and reliable solution for vandalism problems. It replaces all key systems and can be installed in : - Lift - Parking entrance - Doors of buildings (control lock) - Hotel rooms etc.. Technical features : Power supply : Consumption max : Cable lenght between reader module and access control : Number of outputs relay : Number of maximum coded keys : CE compliant : 12V/24V, (AC/DC) type ALS 770 200 mA 100 meters max. (shielded twisted pair) 3 internal + 16 additional (with expansion board 8 relays) 504 keys (NF EN 50081-1 & NF EN 50081-2, NF EN 50082-1 & NF EN 50082-2) PROGRAMMING UNIT DKF 400 B It can be configured easily through the LCD screen. The different possible functions : - RECORD a key - ERASE a key - TIMING output relays - SELECTION the number of relay outputs : 1, 3 or 19 This programming unit has an internal reader module for programming coded keys READER MODULE This external reader module is made of stainless steel and is waterproof and vandal-resistant. It is connected to the access controler by 2 cables shielded twisted pair (réf : STXP2) over a maximum distance of 100 meters from access control. It is avaible in 3 versions : READER MODULE TO SCREW TM 400 V READER MODULE WITH STAINLESS PLATE TM 400 S KEYS CM 400 The keys consist of a microchip with several billion combinations. Each key has a unique code (patented communication protocol). The key is composed of a molded housing , waterproof, made of plastic. Small, very elegant, it fits easily in keychain. Do not need batteries or maintenance. 1 READER MODULE IN FRONT TM 400 A In order to program correctly the access control you have imperatively to observe the point 0 to 3 It is possible to exit of the programming menu by selecting “ SORTIE”. Futhermore, the access controller switches automaticaly in the mode “VEILLE” when any buttons is pressed during approximately 20 secondes. 0) GET STARTED veille Power the access control with 12 or 24 V (AC or DC) 1) PROGRAMMING OF THE NUMBER OF RELAYS USED menu dkf 400 Press the button : « VAL » Press 5 times on the decrement key: « DEC » Push the button « VAL » parametre You are asked to specify the number of output relays you want to use : To do this, press the button « DEC » and « VAL » - 01 : Only one relay - 03 : 3 relays max - 19 : 19 relays max (with expansion board - ref : MAV 108) mode parametre nb relais : 03 To save your selection, press the button « VAL » during 3 seconds. Then, press briefly the button « VAL » to return to the menu. menu dkf 400 2) PROGRAMMING OF THE RELAY TIMING temporiser Press 3 times the button « DEC » Press the button « VAL » mode parametre RELAIS 1 : You are asked to specify the output timing relays you want to use. Press the « DEC » or « INC » to select the relay have been choosen. mode temporiser relais 3 : 05 secs Press the button « VAL » to confirm. Using the buttons « DEC » and « INC » to position the desired relay timing. Press the button « VAL » during 3 seconds to save timing Do the same operations with the other relays you want to use. menu dkf 400 To exit timing mode, press 2 times the button « VAL » . mode memoriser ADRE: 000 V r01 3) RECORDING A KEY Press the button « VAL » . With buttons « INC  » and « DEC », move to the address you want to use. Press the button « VAL » during 3 seconds. Then, insert the key into the reader module (internal) ADRESSE V:VIDE RELAIS 1 INSERER CLE This message indicates that the key has been saved at the address : 0 0 0. The message “ P “ indicates that the memory box is full and it will activate relay 1. Press button « VAL » to return to the menu If you have finished the programming of the keys, go to the message « SORTIE » (see page 4) 2 mode temporiser ADRE: 000 P r01 menu dkf 400 4) ERASE A KEY Press 2 times the button « DEC » . Press the button « VAL » . EFFACER With buttons « DEC » and « VAL » , move to the address you want to delete. Press the button « VAL » during 3 seconds to confirm the erasing mode effacer ADRE: 000 p r This message indicate that the key saved at address 0 0 0 has been erased. ( « V » indicates memory box is empty) . mode effacer ADRE: 000 V r01 Press button « VAL » to return to the menu 5) DUPLICATE MEMORIES (use with caution) The functions allows you to program many access control units with the same setting and the same keys, you can make the programmation one time, and duplicate it in the others access controlers. CAUTION YOU USE VERY SENSITIVE COMPONENTS Firstly, turn off the power of the access controler. Place the empty memory on the MEM2 support on the access controler. Power the access controler. Go to the « DUPLICATE » menu. DUPLIQUER Press the button « VAL » during 3 seconds to begin the duplication. It takes about 70 seconds. mode DUPLIQUER ATTENDRE DURING THE DUPLICATION, DO NOT USE THE ACCESS CONTROL The system automatically returns to the main menu at the end of the duplication. Now, power off the access control. Remove the memory MEM2. Now, it contains the same information as the memory MEM1. YOU HAVE FINISHED PROGRAMMING ? menu DKF 400 MENU DFK 400 SORTIE YES : Press 6 times on the button « DEC » Press the button « VAL » Access control switches into “SLEEP” mode. It is ready to use. VEILLE NO : I would like to change the programmation. With buttons « INC » and « DEC », go on the function you wish to modify. 3 CONNECTION DIAGRAM OF THE ACCESS CONTROLER DKF 400 B 4 ADDRESS : .................................................................................................................................................
