The DM710 and DM740 Demodulator Series The DM710 is the perfect demodulator for utility applications in cable TV, industrial TV headends, trucks, presentation rooms, and more. The DM710 accepts either Antenna or Cable TV RF inputs, and outputs both video and balanced BTSC stereo audio. The compact size allows up to three DM710 demodulators to be mounted side by side in only one rack unit of space. A rear panel switch allows for locking the DM710 to all selected functions, including channel tuning, video and audio level, and stereo balance. Other functions include selection of channel fine tuning offsets and forced HRC tuning. DM710 Features Meeting Tomorrow’s Standards Today Basic demodulator application Antenna or Cable TV RF inputs Outputs both video and balanced BTSC stereo audio Selection of channel fine tuning offsets and forced HRC tuning Rear panel switch to lock the DM710 to selected functions Compact Size - three demodulators in 1 RU Easy system power - 12 VDC operation, AC adaptor included; Multi-unit and 48 VDC power units available BTSC Stereo decoder Clear front panel indication of channel selection confirms operation at a glance The DM740 receives “off-air” or CATV signals, demodulates these signals and provides two buffered composite baseband video ouputs. The DM740 also provides balanced stereo audio outputs which may be monitored via the front panel speaker. The DM740 is used in headends, studios and remotes for monitoring and retransmission applications. DM740 Features 154 channel tuning (VHF/UHF/Cable) HRC/IRC tuning capability Wide range fine tuning Random access, search or up/down channel selection Front panel Cable/Antenna selection Frequency synthesized channel selection Synchronous detection Stereo presence indicator Front panel LED channel display Controls for video gain, audio gain and balance on front panel Front panel memory retained for one week in the event of power loss For more information or to place an order, please contact Supply Solutions at www.standardcomm.com 866-978-7759.
