The CNC-Universal Milling Machine DMU 50 eco comes standard-equipped with a powerful milling spindle 1 with up to 8,000 rpm, 83 Nm (40% DC), a drive output of 13 kW (40% DC) and 12 m/min rapid traverse. The NC swivel rotary table 2 with digital drives allows the manufacturing of even very complex work pieces in no more than two setups. The hydraulic table clamp is integrated into the swivel rotary table, with an enormous swivel range (B-axis) of up to 115° (-5° / +110°), allowing undercuts of up to 20°. The
ergonomic design gives the operator better visibility into the work area 3 . The tool magazine with 16 pockets 4 and an electronic hand wheel allow easy and comfortable setup of the most diverse milling applications. The advanced cross-slide design with a rigid, ribbed, cast-iron foundation offers maximum stability to deliver excellent precision and surface quality. The ergonomic DMG SLIMline® Panel 5 with 15''-TFT screen and SIEMENS 810D powerline with ShopMill ensure easy programming and offer 3D-simulation.
