Trust me, you will get much surprise from it. SECURITY ATTENTION Security mark in this manual Warning: Nozzle is about 200℃, please don’t touch it before it’s cold Warning: Please don’t put your hand inside the 3D printer when it’s working. Warning: Please assemble or knock down the machine, when the power adaptor is disconnected Warning: Don’t keep the machine unsupervised when it is working. Print platform 14 15 4 Welcome, let’s start 16 2 Assembly Please be patient and careful when you assemble this 3D printer. Open package 1 Open carton Open carton and take out all parts. 2 Take out all parts Take out all parts and tool bag from carton, Put all of them on the desk. 6 QuickStart Assembly step. i 7 Attention: Please press the support bar to max depth by small hammer, or it may lead the printer unstable QuickStart Assembly step 8 QuickStart Assembly step Attention: Please press the support bars to max depth by small hammer, or it may lead the printer unstable 9 QuickStart Assembly step Match build plate with platform a. Pick out build plate from box b. Match the build plate with the platform by three magnet points c. The build plate will combine with the platform by magnetism. i Attention: Three red points are magnet points on the build plate and the platform Three blue points in are calibration knobs on the bottom of the platform to adjust the levelness of build plate 10 QuickStart 3 Before Print After assembled 3D printer, you should make calibration and load the filament, then start your print test. Calibration We should keep the about 0.5mm distance between build plate and nozzle for print request. We could adjust this distance with three calibration knobs on the bottom of the platform. Process: 1. 2. Select “Prepare>Auto home”in menu, wait till printer stop work. Select “Prepare>Move axis>1mm>Z” in menu, press up button till the LCD panel show “+000.0” 3. Adjust the distance between nozzle and build bed to 0.5mm with three calibration 4. Select “Prepare>Move axis>10mm>X” in menu, press up button till the print head move to the edge of the build bed, and repeat step No.3 Select “Prepare>Move axis>10mm>Y” in menu, press up button till the print head move to the edge of the build bed, and repeat step No.3 Repeat step No.1. , Calibration completed. knobs on the bottom of the platform. 5. 6. Note:Every machine had been calibrated in factory, but it maybe affected in transport, you just adjust little is enough. (maybe you could cancel this step according to actual condition) 12 Preparement Load/unload filament This machine use Dia 1.75mm PLA filament to print object. Put PLA filament roll on the filament holder behind the machine, feed the filament in the entrance of extruder,and push filament through tube to nozzle set. 1. Select“Prepare>preheat PLA ”in menu 2. Waiting for nozzle heating 3. Cut the end of filament about 3cm 4. Feed the filament in the entrance of extruder from down to up,unitl filament into the tube , press the clamp to release the filament to go through tube to nozzle. 5.Select “Prepare>Move Axis>Move 1mm >Extruder”, and press down button till the filament is extruded from nozzle Note: 1.The tube between extruder and print head assy is filament tube. 2.Red part is the clamp in extruder (1)When load filament, till filament into the tube , press the clamp to release the filament to go through tube to nozzle. (2)When unload filament, pls select“Prepare>Move Axis>Move 1mm- Extruder”, and press down button to load the filament more than 20 seconds at first, then press up button to unload filament. It could avoid the deformed filament block the nozzle. 3.Red arrow show the filament feeding direction. 13 Start printing Print test sample After calibration and load filament, now you could print anything. LCD panel will show some object file in inner memory. (There is some test object files in sd card, you could print it.) 1. Insert SD card, select “card menu”in menu, Use up/down button to select any file 2. Click OK button to load the file. 3. Finish loading, machine will start to print automatically 4. After the print process finished, platform will be down to bottom, you can take build bed and separate printed object from build bed. Note:Don’t pull out sd card when loading the file, or machine will print the halfloaded file. How to print new object. If you want to print by SD card, please operate as follow: Use Cura to transfer the your STL file to G-code format and save it to SD card to print it directly. 14 Start printing 4 CURA Cura is a free 3D print software,All your 3D print will begin from Cura, then copy to SD card and complete print, it will save your time Print from Cura Prepare for 3D print Each 3d print begin from 3D model file. If you have 3D model file, please transfer it to STL format. You also could download 3d model file from internet. Install Cura • Find Cura_15.04.6.exe in SD card Install it in your computer, and run it. 1 7 8 9 10 11 2 3 4 6 12 16 Cura Print from Cura Select File>open profile Select “configuration file”in SD card and open it,Cura setting is finished 1. Add file • • • • Click “File” /“Load object file” You could load any STL file in your computer to software You could drag STL file to Cura window to load it. You could load many STL files one time, also could copy the model by option “Multiply object 2. Click object,there will be three option in left bottom • Left option,there will appear track of possible move direction. • Middle option,it could adjust the ratio of the object, bottom show the current XYZ data. Lock mark show lock/unlock. • right option, you could get mirror image of current object in X, Y , and Z direction. 3. Save file, save to SD card. Click File / Save gcode(save as gcode format) Save to SD card, with any name you need. 17 Cura Print parameter setting Print setting You could change print setting in Cura such as print speed and layer thickness. You also could use default setting to print. 1. Supports Choose it makes printed object have support. Touching buildplate means Cura will create support for big impending part Everywhere means Cura will creat support In any hollow part to avoid collapse. 1 5 4 2. Raft Choose Raft, Cura will create a raft behind the object. Raft will make object combined with platform better.. Brim is print some brim around the object. It is suggested. Big size object could cancel this option. Note: After object loaded, please adjust the flat side to down, or it will make print failed. 18 Cura 5 CONTROL BOX You can use this machine by the control box. This chapter introduce how to use. Main menu You could do this by control box: • Prepear for next print • Adjust in XYZ axis. • Load/unload filament • Change the nozzle temp and other setting related to 3d print 1 4 1.Card menu: show the gcode format files in sd card and print which you selected. 2. Prepare:Do prepare work for next 3d print in this menu 3. Control: You can change the setting of the printer in this menu , but some change need you are familiar with 3d printer. If your change cause some problem, you can select”Control>Restore Failsafe” to restore default setting 20 Menu PRINT Card menu: show the gcode format files in sd card and print which you selected. Select the file and print Up/down button could roll all file in card menu. Click “OK” button, machine will load and print the selected file. Note:Don’t pull out sd card when loading the file, or machine will print the halfloaded file. 21 Menu PRINT PRINT In print process, the used time, nozzle current/target temp and XYZ coordinate will be shown in LCD panel, you also can change the print speed by up/down button 1 Click “OK” button, it will show below option 2 • • • • Info screen: return to print process Tune: adjust the primary print settings. Control:adjust the advanced print settings Pause print: Pause current print process Stop print: Cancel current print process 3 4 22 Menu FILAMENT Load filament operation: 1. It could avoid the deformed filament block the nozzle. 23 Menu 6 Trouble shooting You maybe meet different problem during printing. Below is a trouble shooting sheet for your reference. 41 控制面板 Fault Trouble shooting Can’t load the filament. Unload the filament and reload again. Check the filament tube is locked on loader or not. Can’t unload the filament Try load the filament and extrude filament from nozzle more than 20 seconds, then try unload the filament. Filament can’t be extruded from Select load filament in control panel , unlock the filament tube from the nozzle, use hand to push filament down when the nozzle is heated to target. nozzle. Printed object combined with build bed. Object dropped from platform during print You could put thin blade under the object, twist the blade to separate the object from build bed. Make calibration again, make sure the distance between nozzle and platform is about 0.5mm Keep the build bed clean and smooth.
