The Bid Bond shall be 5%. 2. Liquidated damages are $250/day. 3. The acoustical ceiling tile shall be Armstrong Cirrus Profile, Beveled item #590 or approved equal. 4. The bid form calls for separate pricing for several line items. All items shall be awarded to the same bidder. This is for accounting purposes only. The Base Bid and Alternate amounts must be filled in on the bid form at the time the bids are due. The Base Bid breakdowns and list of subcontractors are due by noon on April 2gth. 5. Cold Rolled 30 pipe meeting ASTM 1043 is acceptable for Chain Link Fences and Gates specification section 32 31 13. 6. Bleachers shall be a four (4) row, 6 rise, 21' long aluminum premanufactured bleacher unit. 12" deep anodized aluminum seat plank and 1 0 deep mill finished aluminum foot board. Include end caps for seat and footboard planks. Level and secure in place wlbolts to concrete paving. All Star Bleachers, Penco Products, Inc. (800) 875.3141 or approved equal. 7. Olympus HDV lockers are approved. 8. Omit the Building Wrap noted in details F7 & A71A.502. 9. Detail K4lA101 on Sheet A101 at column lines A & 1 shall be L41101. 10. Detail L4lA101 on Sheet A101 at column line 1 & Existing Building shall be K41101. 11. Detail G4lA101 on Sheet A101 applies to the area east of door 175B. 12. Detail K4lA101 on Sheet A101 at column line 2 & Existing Building shall be K1/101. 13. Omit detail cut J11lA501 on Sheet A1 01. Change note 18 on A101 to Owner provided and install projector. Bradley is an approved equal for toilet accessories. Engineered shop drawings for specification section 05 40 00 Cold-Formed Metal Framing are not required for this project. 18. The metal stud framing at the skylight support walls as shown on A501 and for the canopies detailed on A102 are defined in specification section 09 21 16 Gypsum Board Assemblies. All other metal stud framing is covered in specification section 05 40 00 Cold-Formed Metal Framing and on the Structural Drawings. 19. A required Special Inspections form is included with this addendum. This document outlines the City of Columbia's required inspections to obtain an occupancy permit. All of the inspections except for the Outdoor Lighting Certification are the responsibility of the Contractor to satisfy and provide a final report certifying that all required special inspections have been accomplished and all documentation has been delivered to the City. 20. The construction bids will be presented to the Board of Education on May 13th for approval and based upon their approval a notice to proceed will be issued. 21. Any bidder requiring access to the various construction areas shall check in with the front office during normal school hours. 22. All work on the Bio Retention Basins and Detention Facilities for stormwater shall be included in this bid as defined in the Bid Documents. 23. The Contractor shall provide a letter certifying that the Bio Retention Basins and Detention Facilitiesfor stormwater purposes are in full compliance with the Bid Documents upon completition. 24. The Overhead Coiling Doors shall have all stainless steel parts. Omit any references to powder coated parts. 25. There are four indoor practice cages in Baseball 164. The cages shall be Center Lifting MultiSport Practice Cages by Jaypro or approved equal. Size and arrangement per drawings. Operation for lowering and raising shall be by electric motor with a keyed switch located close to door 164A. Jaypro (877) 413.0957. 26. All temporary chainlink construction fencing shall be 6' or taller. 27. The subfloor system beneath the wrestling mats in room 165 shall be similar to the subfloor system for an Action Cush I Wood Athletic Flooringfor a basketball court or approved equal. Plywood panels shall be 15/32 thick (2 layers) over resilient pads (318x2-114x3"). The subfloor system shall be assembled the same as if the final flooring was to be installed but in this case the wrestling mats will sit on top. 28. Henry Air-Bloc 06 WB is approved as an acceptable Weather Barrier for spec section 07 25 00. 29. Haas Door CHT616 Overhead Doors with Kynar finish is approved. 30. Frame elevation type for door 165A shall be F2. 31. Frame elevation type for door 1738 shall be F2. 32. Hardware Group 14 from specification section 08 71 00 is for the hollow metal door to the new pre-engineered metal storage building. See JIIAI 03. 33. Door 165A shall be a single 3'x7' door. 34. Door 1698 shall be a pair of 3'x7' doors. Specifications: 1. Add Visual Display Boards. 2. Add Projector Screens. Architectural Drawinqs: 1. L101. Civil: - See Attached. Markerboards and Tackboards. 1.02 SUBMITTALS A. See Section 01 3000 -Administrative Requirements, for submittal procedures. B. Product Data: Provide manufacturer's data on markerboard, tackboard, tackboard surface covering, trim, and accessories. C. Shop Drawings: Indicate wall elevations, dimensions, joint locations, special anchor details. D. Samples: Submit color charts for selection of color and texture of markerboard, tackboard, tackboard surface covering, and trim. E. Manufacturer's printed installation instructions. F. Maintenance Data: Include data on regular cleaning and stain removal. PART 2 PRODUCTS 2.01 MANUFACTURERS A. Visual Display Boards: 1. Size: As indicated on drawings. 4. Frame: Same type and finish as for markerboard. 5. Accessories: Provide map rail. 2.03 MATERIALS A. Use the Polyvision Series 555 as a standard of quality for materials. 2.04 ACCESSORIES A. Map Rail: Extruded aluminum, manufacturer's standard profile, with cork insert and runners for accessories; 1 inch wide overall, full width of frame. B. Mounting Brackets: Concealed. PART 3 EXECUTION 3.01 EXAMINATION Verify that field measurements are as indicated, Verify that internal wall blocking is ready to receive work and positioning dimensions are as indicated on shop drawings. 3.02 INSTALLATION A, Install boards in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. B, Product Data: Manufacturer's catalog cuts and descriptive information on each product to be used, including: 1. Preparation instructions and recommendations. 2. Storage and handling requirements and recommendations. 3. Installation methods. C. Samples: For screen fabrics, submit two 4 by in size. D. Samples: For case and frame finishes, submit two 2 by in size, illustrating color and texture of finish. E. Operation and Maintenance Data: Provide manufacturer's operation and maintenance instructions. F. Warranty: Submit manufacturerwarranty and ensure that forms have been completed in Owner's name and registered with manufacturer. 1.03 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING A. Deliver projection screens to project site in manufacturer's original unopened packaging. Inspect for damage and size before accepting delivery. B. Store in a protected, clean, dry area with temperature maintained above 50 degrees F. Stack according to manufacturer's recommendations. C. Acclimate screens to building temperatures for 24 hours prior to installation, or in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. 1.04 WARRANTY A. See Section 01 7800 - Closeout Submittals, for additional warranty requirements. B. Provide 3 year manufacturer warranty for projection screen assembly. PART 2 PRODUCTS 2.01 FRONT PROJECTION SCREENS A. Manufacturers: 1. Draper, Inc, Model Salara Series M: www.draperinc.com. 2. Substitutions: See Section 01 60 00 - Product Requirements. B. Front Projection Screens: Factory assembled unless otherwise indicated. 1. Manual, matte light diffusing fabric screen,, wall mounted. a. Screen Dimensions: 96 inches by 96 inches. C. Matte Light Diffusing Fabric: Light diffusing screen fabric; washable, flame retardant and mildew resistant. Exposed Screen Cases: Aluminum; integral roller brackets. 1. Finish: Powder coat. 2. Color: White. 3. End Caps: Aluminum; finished to match case. 4. Mounting: Wall. Manually-Operated Screens: 1. Roller: 1-314 inch aluminum; spring loaded with locking device, D. E. PART 3 EXECUTION 3.01 EXAMINATION A. Verify that substrate is finished and ready to accept screen installation. B. C. If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding. Do not install projection screens until climate control systems are in place and interior painting and other finishes are completed. 3.02 PREPARATION A. Coordinate screen installation with installation of projection systems. B. Coordinate installation with adjacent construction and fixtures, including ceilings, walls, lighting, fire suppression, and registers and grilles, 3.03 INSTALLATION A, Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, using manufacturer's recommended hardware for relevant substrates. B. C, D. Do not field cut screens. Install screens in mountings as specified and as indicated on drawings. Install plumb and level. Adjust projection screens and related hardware in accordance with manufacturer's instructions for proper placement and operation. 3.04 PROTECTION A. Protect installed products until completion of project. B. Touch up, repair, or replace damaged products before Substantial Completion. END OF SECTION E. Hickman High School Athletic Building Addition & Sitework PWA 201136.10 11 52 13- 2 PROJECTION SCREENS Civil Addendum Items C002: Add the Following to Sheet C002: Special lnspection Note: Upon Completion of Construction and Prior to Issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy the Contractor Shall Be Responsible for Providing a Special lnspection and Written Report to the City of Columbia Protective lnspection Division For: 1. All ADA Accessible Parking, Accessible Route and Other Accessible Elements in New Parking Lots, Ramps, Buildings Structures and Sites. The Report Shall Verify Conformance with IBC 2006 Chapter 11Sections 1104, 1105 and 1106, and ICC/ANSI A117.1 - 2003. The Report Shall Include Grades, Slopes Cross Slopes, and Details Required to Verify Compliance. 2. As Built Drawings for all Permanent Stormwater Management Facilities in Accordance with City of Columbia Codes of Ordinances Section 12A-92. C103: Add the following general note to sheet C103: Subgrade and all fill material under proposed building pad shall consist of engineered fill, minimum depth = 24". Engineered fill shall extend a minimum of 5' past edge of proposed building pad. C104: Make the Following Pen Change to Sheet C104: "Install In-Ground Weatherproof Duplex Outlet Behind Pitcher's Mound -See MEP". Add the following note to the Scope of Work for Turf Provider/lnstaller: Provide Owner a Portable Outfield Fencing System, "SportPanel" by Signature Fencing & Flooring, or Equal, as Follows: o Provide 26 SportPanel Portable Fencing Panels in standard white o Provide 6 "blackout" panels #SESNPOlB. o All 32 Panels shall be equipped with the "Technotip" Breakaway Leg System #SE- and Yellow Saferail Top #SESR o Provide 2 Foul Poles #SESNPFP C105: Make the Following Pen Change to Circled Keynote #1 Revise Keynote to say "Existing Parking Lot Light".
