Draka DRK-S701 Series Event Monitoring Device Maintenance Schedule 6 Month Maintenance Check • • Run a unit system test per instructions in User Manual under title System Test. (Note: This function will take the elevator out of service until Earthquake Function is reset.) Check battery voltage to ensure a minimum of 3.2 volts. 12 Month Maintenance Check • • Perform all functions of the 6 month maintenance Perform manual relay testing under the System Test Menu function to ensure relay changes state. 24 Month Maintenance Check • • ** Replace the two rechargable batteries. (2600mAH Li-ion 18650 3.7V Protected Battery) Draka Part Number 30016 Perform applicable 6 and 12 month maintenance items. Dispose of battery promptly and properly. Keep away from children. Do not disassemble or dispose of batteries by burning. This battery may present a risk of fire or explosion when heated above the manufacturer’s recommended charge/discharge temperature of 212°F/100°C or incinerated.
