(Jumper may be stowed on one pin if audio verification is not used.) DETECTION PATTERNS Top View 2. For best audio clarity, set Potentiometer to minimum acceptable volume. See table below for initial setting. Note: If using audio verification, do not mount the sensor in a noisy environment. Ensure switch S2 is set to ON (right). 2. Set Range Adjustment potentiometer to 25%. Replace cover and turn power ON. After the RED LED stops slowly flashing (power up mode), walk test the sensor. 3. Walk through the detection area and observe the LED: RED LED indicates an alarm detection. GREEN LED indicates PIR detection. YELLOW LED indicates microwave detection. 4. If necessary, increase Range Adjustment potentiometer until desired detection range is obtained. 5. Set switch S2 to OFF (left) to disable the LEDs. # ZONE FINDER WALK TEST (OPTIONAL STEP) Use Zone Finder mode to identify the PIR and/or microwave pattern. In Zone Finder mode, the RED LED (alarm) is disabled. The Zone Finder mode times out in 10 minutes. Side View 1. Ensure switch S2 is set to ON (right). 2. Use a screwdriver to short the TEST PADS for 5 seconds. Replace the cover. 3. Walking through the detection area and observe the LED: GREEN LED indicates PIR detection. YELLOW LED indicates microwave detection. 4. If the detection was not satisfactory, adjust the detection range as described in the Walk Test section. 5. Remove cover and set switch S2 to OFF (left) to disable the LEDs. TROUBLESHOOTING RED LED flashing rapidly indicates a trouble condition. Either a microwave, PIR, or temperature compensation fault is present. Solution: Momentarily power down the sensor, or enter the Zone Finder mode (short test pads for 5 seconds) to invoke a self test. If the trouble does not clear, replace the sensor. (Please check the power, and all wiring before replacing the sensor.) COMPLIANCE NOTES • For EN 50131-2-4 and PD6662 compliant installations, mount sensor at 2.3m (7.5ft), set sensitivity to H (High), and install cover screw.
