The Extron DTP DVI 230 D is a Decora®-style extender that sends single link DVI-D video, analog audio, and bidirectional control signals up to 230 feet (70 meters) over a single CATx cable. The DTP DVI 230 D delivers superior image quality while offering aesthetically pleasing integration in spacechallenged environments.

SPECIFICATIONS
DESCRIPTION The Extron DTP DVI 230 D is a Decora-style transmitter and receiver set for transmission of DVI-D video, audio, and bidirectional RS-232 and IR signals over a single CATx cable. It provides an economical and effective means for extending single link DVI-D or HDMI signals. In addition, the DTP DVI 230 D accepts analog stereo audio signals and digitizes them for simultaneous transmission over the same twisted pair cable. It is capable of sending 1920x1200 and 1080p/60 Deep Color signals up to 230 feet (70 meters). The transmitter is equipped with a buffered DVI loop-through output to support a local computer monitor. DDC communication of EDID and HDCP is selectable between the local or remote display and is continuously maintained between a source and display. This ensures direct compatibility and optimal signal transmission between devices. The DTP DVI 230 D can be used as a point-to-point solution or integrated with a DVI switching and distribution system to extend inputs or outputs to remote locations. In addition, the DTP DVI 230 D is fully compatible with HDMI signals when used with the appropriate DVI-HDMI adapters from Extron. The twisted pair extender supports simultaneous transmission of bidirectional RS‑232 and IR signals from a control system, providing remote control to source equipment or remote displays. Also, either device can be remotely powered over the twisted pair cable.
