This may cause damage to Micro-SD or the entire camera. - Please use minimal effort when the Micro-SD is inserted in or out of the camera.Use of force can easily damage the Micro-SD or product parts. - Before using the product for the first time, ensure that the Micro-SD is formatted. Please check for any saved data in the Micro-SD to avoid unexpected loss. We are not liable or responsible for malfunctions that result from failure to follow the guideline above The camera support Micro-SD card up to 32GB only, A class 10 above quality card is recommended for good video quality. 5 Operation Guide 1.Charge the camera Please charge the camera before using the camera for the first time. Recommended charging time is 1-2 hours for a full charge. A)You can charge the camera by connecting it with a PC usb port or a USB 5v1A charge adaptor. Please make sure the camera is powered off for charging. Indicator Status: The yellow indicator is always on, It will be off when fully charged Yellow indicator 6 Operation Guide B)When you power on the camera and connect it to your PC USB port,this means that your camera is in Mass storage mode and PC camera mode. Indicator Status:Yellow and blue indicator are always on and red indicator flash slowly. Yellow&blue indicator stay on and the red indicator flashes C)When you connect the camera to your USB charge adaptor and power it on, this means that your camera is in recording standby mode.You can choose a different mode to record according to the function of this camera.(A Micro-SD card is required to be inserted for recording while charging using a power adaptor Remember to only insert or remove a Micro-SD card when the camera is OFF) Indicator Status: Power off the camera, yellow indicator is always on. Power on the camera, yellow and blue indicator is always on. Blue Yellow 7 Operation Guide Important Notes: 1.During all the above three modes, the camera is in charging. 2.When camera can not be powered on, please charge the camera. 3.If your camera can not be recognized as a mass storage,pls use the provided card reader to read/copy the recorded files to your computer for playback. 4.It is recommended that you copy the video clips to your computer to get a smooth playback. 5.If you want to use the camera as a PC camera, download Ecap driver from the internet to run the camera on Microsoft Windows 7 and above. 6.The camera will turn itself off if there is no operation more than 60 seconds in standby mode. This function avoids draining the battery 2.Manually recording Power on the camera: Briefly press on the power button for 2 seconds,the camera will get into standby mode. Indicator Status:The blue indicator will be on. Manually Record: Briefly press on the top record button,and the camera will start to record videos of 10 minutes clips each. The camera will automatically detect the environment and switch itself to day or night vision recording. 8 Operation Guide Indicator Status: The blue indicator flash 3 times and goes off.Then the camera start to record manually. B lue indicator (No light up when camera is in recording) Saving videos: Briefly press the top record button again to save the video. the camera will go back to standby mode. Indicator Status: The blue indicator is on. Important Note: - When the camera is in recording,both the power and mode buttons are not effective. Brieflypress the top record button back to go to standby mode and then continue to operate the camera. - Manually record will produce 10 minutes video clips for file protection purpose. - The camera will detect the environment for day or night vision every 10 minutes,so when the camera is in recording,the environment change will not be detected and thus the camera will not change itself to day or night vision recording accordingly. 9 Operation Guide 3.Sound activated recording 1)Switching to sound activated recording mode: When the camera is in standby status (blue indicator is on). Briefly press the mode button,the camera will go into the sound activated recording mode. 2)Start recording: When the environmental sound volume is over 60 decibels (dB) which is normal speaking volume, the camera will automatically start to record; The recording file will be saved and go into the next sound activated recording standby status when the evironment becomes silent after 2 minutes. Every 2 minutes,the camera will automatically detect the environment and switch itself into night vision,day time or recording,standby status. Sound activated recording will produce 2 minutes video clips. Indicator status:The red indicator flash 3 times and goes off. 10 Operation Guide 3)Exit from sound activated recording mode: Briefly press the top record button or mode button while it is in recording.The camera will save the video and go back to the standby status.(Blue indicator is on) Blue indicator 4.Motion detection recording 1)Switching to motion detection recording mode: When the camera is in standby status (blue indicator is on).Briefly press mode button for 2 seconds,the camera will go into motion detection recording mode. 11 Operation Guide 2)Start recording: When an object is moving in front of the camera lens, it will detect and start to record automatically. If there's no more motion in 2 minutes, the video will be saved and the camera will turn itself into the next motion detection standby status. Every 2 minutes, the camera will automatically detect the environment and switch itself into night vision, day time or recording, standby status. Motion detection recording will produce 2 minutes video clips. Indicator status:The red and blue indicator flash 3 times and goes off 3)Exit from motion detection recording mode: Briefly press the top record button or mode button while it is in recording.The camera will save the video and get back to the standby status.(Blue indicator is on) Blue indicator 12 Operation Guide 5.Time modification The camera’s software will automatically create a time file named as SETTIME when the camera is switched on with Micro-SD card installed.The time will be amended to the current time when you open the document and save it. Exit the portable disk and restart the camera and record, new videos recordings will automatically synchronize with the current time. 1.Open the portable disk, you will find the SETTIME.TXT file. SETTIME.TXT 2.Open the SETTIME.TXT file and amend the clock times to your required time, DO NOT amend any other data or file format.
