DVI2USB 3.0 DVI2USB 3.0™ Epiphan's next generation external frame grabber, offers the ultimate in performance and versatility. Using a USB 3.0 bus, it's the only dual-mode video capture device that captures high frame rate, diagnostic-quality video and images from a VGA, DVI, or (HDMI audio and video) source and transfers to a USB port on another computer at 60 fps at maximum resolution. DVI2USB 3.0 is self-powered, no peripheral component interface (PCI) is required, and backward compatible with the USB 2.0 bus. DVI2USB 3.0 uses the USB 3.0 port found on all new computers and notebooks to capture output from virtually any VGA or DVI or HDMI source—such as a Windows PC, a Mac OS X, a Unix machine, an embedded system, a digital video (DV) camera, a medical device, scientific or lab equipment, and more. Using Epiphan or 3rd party applications, DVI2USB 3.0 can then broadcast these images over public, private or broadband wireless networks, enabling remote diagnosis of medical, military, and other situations in which a precise image and stable frame rate is required for accurate decision-making.
