The DVM 1000 Digital Modulator series is a high quality, professional, flexible and cost-effective solution suitable for different purposes: Terrestrial TV Broadcasting (DVM 1000/T-H) Satellite Distribution and Contribution (DVM 1000/S, DVM 1000/DSNG, DVM 1000/S2) Digital Microwave Links The DVM 1000 series employs the latest technology FPGA (Field Programmable Logic Array); modulation schemes are according to the reference standard and include OFDM (DVB-T/H); QPSK (DVB-S); QPSK, 8PSK, 16QAM (DVB-DSNG); QPSK, 8PSK, 16APSK, 32APSK (DVB-S2). All the modulators are designed to transmit MPEG Transport Stream data and are provided with one or more ASI input interfaces.
The input Transport Stream, except for some particular cases, is automatically adapted to the data speed (bit-rate) requested by the modulator through adding or discarding null data packets; with carrying out this operation, the modulator also provides the update of the time reference (PCR) in the Transport Stream (time re-stamping). Output may be at IF (36 or 70 MHz, according to the model) or, optionally, in VHF, UHF or L band. OTHER FEATURES User – friendly local control with front panel LCD display and keypad RS485; Ethernet 10/100 Base-T (SNMP and web server support) remote control interface option. Stand-Alone Unit 1U high.
