The octagonal casing is manufactured from seawater resistant aluminium (4 pole 1000-M and P from aluzinc steel sheet). The base frame consist of galvanised steel. The impeller with backward-curved blades is also manufactured from galvanised steel. The fan is equipped with IEC flange electric motor with degree of mechanical protection IP 54, insulation class F. Single speed resp. two speed motors as Dahlander (4-8, 6-12) or with separate windings (6-8, 4-6, 8-12). Motor cooling with fresh air via air duct. Thermal motor protection on request (PTC or thermal contact). For frequency controlled units PTC must be ordered. For smaller two speed fans (up to 10A) two speed switch is available as accessories (in this case thermal contact must be ordered; not suitable for PTC or without thermal contact). Connection the fan to the mains in service switch (serial at sizes 800 and 1000) on the casing. Other sizes equipped with terminal box, service switch on request. EMC protected cables, cable glands or service switches on request. On request fan can be factory fitted with sound attenuator on outlet as DVVI/120 fan. Sound attenuators are also available as HSDV accessories.

Specification text Roof fan, vertical blowing. The DVV/120 radial fans are intended for the normal daily ventilation, temperature of air up to 120°C. The base plate and the inlet cone are made of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet. The outer octagonal casing from seawater-resistant aluminium (4 pole 1000M and P from aluzinc steel sheet). Bird protection grill inside casing. The air stream is carried out through annular space between the casing and the motor housing. The fan has an electroplated backward curved radial impeller made of steel sheet, single inlet. With hub and secured bolted joint directly assembled on the motor shaft. Dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940 T1 quality class G6,3. Driven by an IEC standard motor, two-speed (separate winding 4-6 and 6-8, Dahlander 4-8 and 6-12). Cooling of the motor with ambient air through an isolated air duct in underpressure system. The motor protection is provided by customers. PTC or thermal contact built-in electric motor on request. For frequency controlled units PTC must be ordered. For smaller sizes (up to 10A) two speed switch is available as accessories (in this case thermal contact must be ordered; not suitable for PTC or without thermal contact). Connection the fan to the mains in service switch (serial at sizes 800 and 1000) outside on casing. Other sizes equipped with terminal box on the same place, service switch available on request. EMC protection (for frequency control, if needed) on request, serial not EMC protected cables, cable glands and service switches are used. Flange connection according to DIN 24154R3. An additional sound attenuator HSDV/F is available on enquiry.
