Safety instructions
Ignoring any of the safety instructions can cause serious personal injury and can also cause damage to the linen and the dryer. Carefully read the installation and operating instructions before connecting the machine. It is recommended to have the machine installed by qualified technicians. The installation needs to be executed according to the Installation manual. The grounding instructions must be followed in order to avoid the risk of electrocution. The machine may not be exposed to high humidity, nor to extreme high or low temperatures. The dryer may not be used in a closed-off room with insufficient air supply. If necessary, the doors or windows should be provided with a ventilation grate. Cut off all main gas, steam and electrical supplies at the end of each operating day. Before repairing or maintaining the dryer, wait until the machine is sufficiently cooled down and cut off all supply lines. To prevent fire and explosion : - Keep the area around the dryer free from inflammable or combustible products. - Clean the piled-up dust in and around the dryer and fan regularly. If you detect a gas smell : - Immediately cut off the gas supply and ventilate the room. - Do not switch on electrical appliances and do not switch on any electrical switches. - Don’t ever use matches or lighters. - Don’t ever use a telephone in the same building. - Notify the installer as soon as possible and the gas company, if necessary. Always take into account the instructions on the labels of the linen. Never allow children to play near a machine.
- Do not use the dryer to dry material with a low melting temperature (PVC, rubber, …). - Do not dry any products that still contain solvents or other inflammable substances. Remark: These instructions won’t automatically prevent all risks of accidents. It is up to the user to act with utmost care. Do not hesitate to contact the dealer in case of a problem. 7

Technical remarks Gas failure
Electronic temperature protection
The electronic ignition of a gas-heated dryer will only try to function once for about 10 seconds. If this fails and the detection device doesn’t detect any flame (for example in case of a gas failure), then the ignition relay goes into safety. When the drying cycle restarts, then a new ignition will occur.
When a temperature of 4°C or less, or of 100°C or more has been detected, the electronic temperature protection will be activated. During operation : Temperature higher than 100°C : The heating is interrupted, but the cycle is completely finished. "ESH" appears on the display.
Temperature lower than 4°C : When after 3 minutes a temperature lower than 4°C is detected, the heating will be interrupted. The cycle is completely finished and "EOP" appears on the display.
Sail switch
The sail switch is in the back and is a protection, which interrupts the heating, in case there is insufficient air supply. This can be the result of an inadequate exhaust, or a dirty filter. 44240501
It is necessary that the sail switch can move freely. In case of a malfunction, "VEn" is blinking on the display and the cycle continues without activating the heating.
44240501
Rotation sensor
In case the drum no longer rotates due to failure (for instance breakdown of a V-belt),"rot" will blink on the display if the machine is equipped with a rotation sensor (option) and the cycle continues without activating the heating. The rotation sensor is fixed at the back of the dryer near the drum axle. 39
